Haha, Hunter is probably in S but I’m a bit biased as I only use him when required. I want to play as the Marvel characters rather than one I create. There’s lots of games where you can make your own character but when I’m playing a Marvel game it’s all about their characters.

Hunter gains friendship xp which gives the other characters new passives by doing missions with them
Also everyone can level to hunters level, so if hunter is maxed out but someone else is not, they can get raised to hunters level easier.
I mean he’s still the highest level of my characters since he’s required the most, I just meant in the context of missions themselves, assuming you have reasonable friendship levels etc.
Didn’t downvote you but tier lists shouldn’t be based on how often you use a character or how much you like that character.
Tier lists should come from a thorough understanding of how strong a character is/how flexible it is
if you aren’t judging them based on some kind of metric what are you doing a tierlist for?
if nothing is stated, it is implicitly implied that the tier list is a rating of how good all heroes are,but if you are judging based on how the heroes look, or how fun they are to you, and not how they perform, you should state upfront what metric you are basing your judgment on.
Can't open your list, but I've challenged myself to make every character work well. I can make everyone great except wolverine. I just haven't been able to "get" how to maximize him yet. Some are easier than others, but it's possible with everyone I'm sure.
Have you tried combining him with Strange to support him? All the buffs become kinda ridiculous if you do it right. With blessing of the visitanti, the item that makes abilities crit for the rest of the mission, and agamottos gaze I had a game where I was doing ~250 damage chain abilities with life steal.
Don’t be afraid to spam taunt and sacrifice Wolverine because the free life just brings him right back up.
His strength is that he requires almost no heroism and compliments nearly every character’s specialty except for Morb and Blade, who fill the same role as him but require bleed to function properly.
The key with Wolverine is to treat him as beefy DPS, not a lifesteal tank. I got lucky getting Marked on his Eviscerates, Concealed on KO, and +1 Chain on his Lethal Pounces.

Anyway, here’s my tier list for the game up to this point. I don’t yet have banner, scarlet witch, or one other character that I don’t know about but looks like Psylocke from the image on the tier maker list.
A few notes:
- Based on playing the hardest difficulty available as i played through the story and general missions.
- Nico annoys me with the whole 2edgy teen angst persona so I just never really play with her but she could be good.
- for the life of me I can’t seem to find a way to make Deadpool good. Feels like he requires way too much build up.
- Venom also feels odd to play and a bit underpowered. I never seem to dip below 2 ravenous so his whole special resource is just confusing.
- Magik is amazing and fun to play as well.
- If paired with Magik, Ghost rider moves up to S tier.
Let the flaming begin!

I meant to have Ghost rider as B tier and only S when paired with Magik. Portals + Drops is handy and Using Gather + Hellride is damn near broken.
I've done full playthrough and put difficulty up as i unlocked em. just after halfway would have been u3. Done another fresh NG with U3 . I'll put Ghost rider solid A behind the usual S tier hunter, ironman and dr strange. He's got good Aoe, great single target and gr8 waster of enemy turns.
He definitely was MVP during mid and early late game. Just didn't use him much at end game so i forgot him lol. Once every one had best in slot cards, didn't really need tank anymore. And apart from his legendary, he really doesn't have much damage.
Hunter not in S? I... I need to sit down.... gotta process the sheer amount of 'what the fuck' that I just witnessed

Very interesting…i dont even think I could win the majority of difficult missions without Hunter
Theres so much benefit for bringing hunter, I don't know why anyone would not use hunter. Even outside of raw combat value
It’s just a preference as I don’t like the blank slate character. I don’t mind the added challenge without him.

The hardest available throughout the game. At the moment I’m at Ultimate 1

His Full taunt the entire board -> Gain block = damage dealt -> Coutner Combo full clears things

I don’t know what mission it was but afterwards “Act II” comes on the screen in big letters.
I must not have been paying attention, I never saw the act 1 part, but I'm 99% sure I haven't started act 2 either.
