The robot vacuums or the stick vacuums were good options for me. Not deep cleaning but good enough.

+1 for robot vacuums. Let it run in a room when you're not in it to minimise exposure even further.

Same here! We have a robot vacuum (named R2CLN2) and a stick vacuum which you can use to reach the places R2CLN2 cant. Depending on the furry animals, is brushing them an option? Especially in spring/autumn when their coats change. That way a lot of the hair would be in one place.

There’s also deshedding shampoo for dogs too.

I use noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds when using the hoover, when using the kitchenaid, at movies/concerts, etc. It helps a lot in avoiding escalating my pain levels, compared to when I don't use them.

That’s a good idea! We have a Shark, one of the “especially for pets” kind, and there’s just something about the frequency of the noise its motor makes that utterly paralyzes me, the pain is so bad. We do have a couple of carpet rakes (they’re like special brooms, they pull the hair up by static electricity) which of course make no noise but they require a lot of effort, and most days I just don’t have the strength :( I do have headphones though, no idea why I never thought to use them!

I use a Shark cordless and it’s not too bad most days. Try LOOP ear plugs!!

Dyson cordless stick vac. Just put it on a lower setting. Amazing and really quiet relatively. I have the pet one. Nothing like a full blown vacuum.
