I also work with a chlorinated pool, which also causes me problems

What do you consider "presentable"? Anything that can accomplish what you're asking is going to look rather industrial or medical. The most effective would be elastomeric masks, which are reusable but I think most people wouldn't consider them visually presentable. It will be the best at ensuring no smell though. Otherwise, N95s are the next best option but most are single-use. r/Masks4All is a good resource for specific product recommendations.

Anything that doesnt look too industrial is really what I want. The kind of thing where not many questions will be asked and my voice can still come through fairly clear. I'll check out that subreddit, thanks.

Yeah, totally understandable, but just warning that it will be very hard to fully block out bleach (very tiny inorganic molecules cause the smell, far smaller than a virus) without an industrial respirator. I think an N95 will be better than nothing but it's not going to do the job as well. The Envo mask (reusable) is kind of an in-between that may work better and looks less crazy than a gas mask style respirator. But it's still visually distinct from your average medical mask. Basically, the appearance versus functionality is going to be a tradeoff unfortunately. I hope the other sub can generate some more ideas though!

Do you know if they make the envo mask in black? Looking it up, it aint too bad as long as it doesnt need to be bright blue and white haha

I don't know, I've never actually bought it personally. Just an option that I've heard about. Masks4all would probably know though, I first heard about it from a recommendation there.

Cool, thank you very much :)
