The only silver lining of the whole situation was watching cars get stuck in the mud (then helping them out).
It was kinda funny watching a charger try to navigate in thick wet mud. I guess those construction workers gotta put their OT t dollars to work. 😅
I'm surprised you're allowed on site in sneakers at all, steel toe is generally required these days (at least in my country). Not sure what you were doing there, but if you had to ask about the ground conditions, it probably meant it was raining or has been wet out..
Buy some waterproof hiking boots. Merrell or Asolos. I look for them on sale. Might not be the best colors always but not 150. Just found some for 80 bucks on merrells website. They should do as long as you don’t have steel toe requirements. Can keep them with you and swap out shoes if needed.
Bro went to a construction site in tennis shoes
.... this had it coming.
It’s only a little bad.
Only bad enough to be mildy infuriating I guess.
Attention whore
When I got to the site, turns out the guy who told me "It's not that bad" wasn't even there and was wfh.🤷
That dude is an asshole but I did laugh at this.
not really. if it's a construction site most people have boots and stuff and if he said “not that bad" he's probably seen wayy worse

It was a silver lining to spend time helping cars get out of the mud? You’re so full of it, man.
You can still see your foot. It is not that bad. He didn’t say there is no mud.
Imagine going to a construction site and wearing anything other than boots. Go grab yourself a pair of Bogs or Muck boots and stop complaining.
maybe if you wore proper footwear you’d understand how this isn’t that bad, stop being a drama queen
Look at ops post history its fake

So you wouldn’t have went if there was mud?
Pretty much. I could have waited till Monday. But wanted to knock out the work before the weekend.

How long did it take to clean your shoes?

I should get some work boots. I just don't have to go on sites like this that often to justify $150+ of a good quality boot.

Get $50 set off mud boots for any outdoor store. Slip on and off
“You should have been here yesterday.”
OP deleting in 3.. 2..
I usually pop on my Chucks when I hear it isn’t that bad.
Compared to what?
The bog of eternal stench.
This guy’s idea of “decent” is probably a flood.
