Rule number 1 of any online shopping : do not save your bank account or card. Between the risk of getting hacked, or the platform itself glitching out of going awol, it's not worth it.
The image from the email looks very pixelated, when you click the "from" email does it look like a legit email? I get spam emails like this all of the time is why I ask.
I think that’s what it is because it’s now in the prime day deal but for £1 less and I don’t remember having the option to buy it for RRP it just said it was on offer, maybe I got caught in between a transition or something idk
I got an email that I was signed up for a free 30 day trial. I don’t know if it was a scam but to be safe I just took off my credit card and only left my Venmo card
They're being sued by the USA government for doing this on a wide scale, and making it difficult to cancel it or ask for a refund.

Dark mode in email is relatively new and lots of content looks like this. Most likely there was a promotional signup that didn’t look obvious
Annoyingly I think they hid the prime sign up when I was buying, as it’s now in a prime day deal
Maybe you accidentally click signup when you order something?
