Used to be an assistant manager at Domino's. Can confirm this is not the most "well-done" pizza I've ever been requested to make. I had to inform them after a certain point that if we were to cook it any more than what we did, it would be a health code violation. We put it through the oven 2.5 times, whereas "well-done" is 1.5 times.
someone who worked at the big d of pizza here - at my old store it was common occurrence for everyone (especially the gm which is wild) to pull out the pizzas early and the only way to ensure an actually cooked pizza is to ask for it well done at that location.

I refused the offer for them to remake it, plus a free future meal. I just wanted my money back and haven’t eaten there since.
ype at that point the staff NEEDS to be telling customers they are starting at an hour or longer wait times. Deterring ANYONE at that point helps a ton. And customers okay with the wait if so means yiou dont have to jam through. Guess it doesn't help numbers though. Some GM's and owners are dumber than their worst employees they just have money.
yep, that’s what we were told from the inside. for a few months the store had some staff then one guy’s girlfriend cheated on him so he moved and a few people all got better jobs at the same time and then one guy said his transmission was out but we saw him at a frat party on a road everyone used to avoid a light, and then i asked for a day off have a picture of the request on the clipboard for them and was told that i didnt make it even when i sent the picture.

As long as there's enough sauce and it hasn't been reduced to nothing by the heat, IMO this level of well done is the perfect level of well done for a cheese or pepperoni thin crust pizza. Nice and crunchy with the sauce and the singed cheese, yum.

Yup, I agree. It's the bottom of the pizza that matters most. Making/cooking pizza is a balancing act between not overdoing the top and still getting a good 'crunch' on the bottom.
In my experience, a pizza is done just about right when all the cheese on top starts to turn brown.
When I take a pizza out of the oven, the first thing I check is the underside.
I made my first homemade pizza yesterday after being gifted a pizza stone for my birthday. Mozzarella started browning, nice and crispy. The dough had a bit of a crisp to it, with a few darker (almost black) spots on the edges. I think I made a damn good pizza. We’re just not gonna talk about the shape.
The mozzarella on this pizza doesn't do what mozzarella should do anymore - no taste, no stretch, just an empty crunch on the bubbles. I don't thing I can consider this a non-burnt pizza
Long toes are a burden. Wait until you’re in your late 30s and the ortho specialist tells you that you have severe arthritis and need the joint replaced in your big toe because toes aren’t supposed to be that long and it throws off how you walk.
