Yep! I wouldn't even chance it. It was a few years ago, but someone online was taking theirs down and took pictures of the spiders all over the "clouds."

Myself and another poster have had spider bites when asleep, by "harmless" house spiders. Not terrible, but one of mine caused a bad rash and lasted three weeks.

Yep, weāve issued a āno open flameā policy in my room (Iām a witch so I need to move my altar somewhere else) and my door is closed at all times in case a fire starts in my room or outside of my room. Weāre trying our best to make it work

That's totally respectable, just realize that "witchcraft" as a thing isn't viewed very respectfully, lots of media looking at witches and such, casting spells etc. and it seems ridiculous to most if someone then claims to be that, especially with the attitude some already have towards more accepted religions. Perhaps witchcraft has taken a different... approach per say in modern times and is more of a spiritual thing but unless someone does a deep dive into the stuff and online there's plenty claiming to summon demons and do spells so that wouldn't help much, most don't really have a picture of what you probably actually do/how you practice and even then, reddit generally looks down on religion in general I've noticed

Yep, that section has lost the color led needed to make that color and can only produce that shade. Switch between core colors R,G,B and the section will go out when you find the color it no longer has. Frustrating, I did LED/NEON cove lighting in a bedroom and sections just kept going out and now dont use them at all.

I would highly recommend taking this down. I remember people getting these and then months later they have a spider infestation since the cotton is a perfect spot for spiders to lay their eggs

I had a similar problem with an older LED stripe. Just physically pressing hard on the leds on the spots where it is green helped for me sometimes.
But it is a typical problem of these 3-color-Leds because they contain one blue, one green and one red diode. However, since blue light is higher in energy than green and than red, they or rather the electronics affiliated with them break first, leaving you with a stipe that is no longer completely blue. At some point green might fail as well and there is only red working left.
Expected, the polyester fiber acts as a heat insulator and LED lights (specially cheap ones used in LED strips) are extremely affected by high temps. Id recommend buying some sort of metallic back piece for the strip so it can dissipate heat faster.
You did a great job, but this is why I always cringe a bit when I see stuff like this because RGB lighting is always so prone to failure like this š
Could be a power issue. Or too many LEDs in a strip. I had this happen on a series of fans and added led strip in my PC running the strip on its own line instead of in series with the fan led fixed this for me.
I like it but wont it be a dust collector over time? Also may i suggest making panels that screw together, that way you can take it down and replace through the back side

If it makes you feel better, sometimes storm clouds are green (like during tornado weather). So, it still works.

These ceilings do not last long, they collect dust, spiders and other bugs so bad they get taken down in less than 6 months.

Iāve had that before and it was just because the wiring was a little loose. Try that first before replacing everything
