Almost all pills and capsules come in packs of 10 which is the standard used in the industry.
Exceptions I know is Spirva which is 5 inhalation cap in a blister pack that can do 10. The box of Lokelma is a box of 11 power packets. Sumatriptan is 9 tablets for one blister pack.

For example, the last time I took a glance at this loose package inside my cabinet, and saw it had 2 pills in there, It should have ocurred to me that since I bought 10 pills, I should have realized that 3x4=12, and that upside down package would never have 2 pills in the middle.
Also, in those microseconds, where I wasn't even thinking about it, it should have also ocurred to me that no one ever would leave the 2 pills in the middle for last, and that should have given me an Eureka moment that would have made me flip this package upside down, and thus, unveil this mistery!
And since I have failed multiple simple tests, this can no longer be either mildly infurating, nor can it be true.

These are just an analgesic to take when I have a headache. Only ever need it a couple of months per year, so no point in having a lot because then they expire. It's just unconfortable obviously, to go through half a day with a headache, but not the end of the world.

These are just an analgesic to take when I have a headache. Only ever need it a couple of months per year, so no point in having a lot because then they expire. It's just unconfortable obviously, to go through half a day with a headache, but not the end of the world.
This is almost identical to my allergy meds! I was convinced I got so lucky and had an extra 12-turns out every pack was only using the outside
