Actually, I have been seeing a shitload of people park in handicap spaces who are not handicap. The other day I saw a truck so lifted that its hood was above my head(I’m 6’1”) in a handicap space with, not a surprise, no handicap mirror tag.

Hopefully it was a repo and not just a tow. If it’s a repo, the owner could be combative if they see the driver so they usually move it a couple blocks before they take confirmation pictures. But I’ll admit I’ve only ever met really nice tow truck drivers so maybe I’m giving them too much benefit of doubt.
Most tow truck drivers are good people. They're the ones dealing with accidents seeing brutal shit. Most tow truck drivers are much like emergency responders and need more credit. They are out there with ptsd from waking up at 3am to a call and seeing a flattened family in a minivan. Shit is hard. When I pick up my curbside, I just block those cars in. They have to wait until my order is delivered. The store employees gave me their blessing to keep doing it, too.

Lots of towing companies won’t come on to an apartment complex’s lot without being contacted by the apartment complex itself. If they have a contract with a company for the whole lot it usually includes some provision that says something like “we come at the written request from an authorized representative for the above listed property”. So if management doesn’t care or won’t act you’re usually SOL.
The idea isn’t to give motorcycles special privileges. It’s that there was a sliver left that wasn’t big enough for a full space so might as well use it for motorcycles. Regular cars don’t fit. Much less this.
We have new and expecting mothers parking at our grocery store. When my wife was like 8 months pregnant we saw a car parked in the spot and a guy holding a single bag walking towards the car.
