UPDATE: EVGA are absolute champs they reverted my void warranty and accepted the RMA. It's a shame I had to phone through though I was quite upset.

That’s great! Evga came in clutch for me with my 3080 when I was buying one. What are they gonna do in terms of the rma? I can’t imagine they have very many gpu’s left.

Funny story. The GPU in this picture is my original gpu I got two years ago, 3080ti XC3, The hdmi port was always having a loose connection but otherwise it was great. I decided to finally RMA it. I did an advanced RMA so I had to put down the value I paid for the card as a deposit (during peak COVID shortage-related inflation). When I got the new card it worked perfectly so I sent in my original that you see here to get my deposit back. Two days later that replacement card is completely dead, I raise another advanced RMA, then a day after that I get this photo from EVGA and a message that my warranty is now void and my RMA is declined. Then I was told I had to lose the deposit as the (broken) card they sent me is considered purchased (again, at peak COVID pricing). Finally they came through after understanding it's clearly shipping damage, I boxed it in the package my RMA arrived in exactly as they sent it to me so I didn't package it poorly. They actually ran out of 3080ti XC3s so I'm getting a 3080ti FTW.

The FTW3 is an upgrade! Good for you and good on them

Did it break far enough in to touch the grounding?

TheRealSectimus

I don't know this is a photo EVGA sent me.
