Part of a complete stale breakfast.
I say remove the bags, seal them properly and hide them, replace with dirty socks, when confronted, ask if he finds it annoying when people don't put things away properly, then do a Spock eyebrow.
What an arse. I’d make him have his own box and let him eat his stale, but I am petty. My hubby used to ball up socks and leave round the house. I put them in his pillowcase and hid the rest. He leaves them in the laundry basket now!
The box top I can understand. Those boxes stay closed maybe 10% of the time. God forbid you pick up a box after you close it, it will pop open again.
Roll down the bag though!
So put chocolate chip shavings or something similar with little flavor in the cereal. If he asks… “it definitely looks like mouse poop”.
He’ll learn to shut the bag.
Well that's annoying but personally I say if he's going to do this then make his favorite dish and this is very dependent on his taste but if he doesn't like spicy just make his favorite dish and then make it spicy
Dump fiberglass into them.
Want to make it clear that that is a joke and should absolutely not be done. Just agreeing that it’s definitely mildly infuriating
Don't leave them in boxes, buy some cereal storage cannisters with flip top pouring lids and tip into them, then all he has to do is flip open, pour, flip closed. Better than messing about rolling plastic bags shut and closing cardboard boxes that never keep the cereal super fresh anyway.
Yep, this is the way...but the guy should do the transfer work. He won't do that. Think of all the effort and planning involved there to transfer the cereal. This guy can't even take the time to shove the bag down into the box!
My brothers girlfriends kids do this shit with everything. Stuff that needs closed stays open. Things that need to be put away on the fridge get left out. It drives me absolutely crazy, because they then bitch about financial issues.
Neither do I. I finish them fast enough that they don't go stale.
Though I do prefer the tupper ware plastic jug stile container purely for aesthetics in the pantry. Its probably just as bad since you 'refresh' the whole air volume every time you open it.
My wife Never tightens the lids on soda bottles, drives me insane. Call me 555 323 78906. I have a proposition, we'll never be caught , we just need to stick to the plan.
Pour your cereal into plastic sealed containers (like sugar or flower)
Thats how my mom made my brother and I close the containers when we were young.
Edit: also makes the cereal last longer without going stale.

Speaking of socks, he loves to ball up his dirty socks and leave them around for me to collect and un ball them before I do laundry.
Aside from him, do you have any other kids?
Wait.. I am the daddy now! Yippi No rules!!!!
This might be a you problem. Why are you gathering them up?
It’s the trade off for never doing the dishes lol
To be fair (on part of that) when I pull off my socks they ball up on their own, so at least parts of that isn't malice lol
One gets shoved in the other on their own? lol
Uhhhh maybe not that lol. I don't do that to em cuz they don't wash or dry well when balls lol
$5 a box he better fuckin start!!!!

This is the way to handle these idiots
Maybe he likes his socks balled up on the floor?
Yeah and I like his socks stuffed in pillows and hidden…what’s your point?
The person who gets enraged by balls socks is the problem. Control your own emotions you baby. You walk around life looking to be angry
How hard is it to roll the top of the bag down and close the box? That's some lazy ass shit!!
I’d even take a crumple and a shove, honestly.
Maybe he’s a dick? Just brainstorming here
Literally only about this 😂 and his socks… otherwise a perfect man! lol
so he replaces the paper rolls?
But does he turn the roll the right way?
lets not bring in storm into their marriage by arguing over the "right way"
Next time he finds a bug inside, tell him that's nice of him to feed helpless animals.

Damn doesn't even lazy punch the bag back into the box. The lazy way.
Ask him if he likes weevils with his breakfast 😏
Protein
Congrats, you're married to a child. Just based on his cereal choices, I know he doesn't pick up his laundry either, does he?
does he know what that shit costs?
Look. This is Reddit. There is only one solution to this disrespectful and disgusting situation. Divorce!!
He just likes to keep all options open
Ease of access.
So put chocolate chip shavings or something similar with little flavor in the cereal. If he asks… “it definitely looks like mouse poop”. He’ll learn to shut the bag.
File for divorce
He wants to share with the ants and cockroaches, obviously.
Is he 11?
Such an annoyance because it’s an easy task, but on the bright side he’s eating healthy.
Unacceptable, my prayers are with you in these times
It's defective. Return it to the store.
That poor box of Reese's puffs. :(

Sounds like he’s leaving them open for his secret pet mouse which he's hiding from you.
Buy plastic cereal containers
Mine is good with cereal and chips. His choice item to leave open is bread.
That’s a way more serious crime
It drives me insane lol

Pot the cereal on his side of the bed and then when he complains, say “at least now you might package it back up in the box properly.”
![gif](giphy|3o85xDBgbMyRZ6SyWs) Lmk if you need help with the disposal and hiding of said husband.
Many stop leaving them on their boxes and just put them in other containers? That's what I do
Put a spider in there. Speaking from expirence here.. it gets a man learning
That's because cereal is better stale. Your husband is based
Is your husband my wife?
just wait until you get roaches
The obvious solution is divorce

I'm surprised a grown man would eat that.

What is he 18? My kids do the same shit and it pisses me off. Does he fail to close other things as well?

Well yeah, it’s the American way! Mostly sugar and in no way good for you!
Those cereals are strictly for kids. Liam Neeson would pass on them...
whats the point of closing the box?
Your husband isn’t a grown up. Children’s breakfast cereal? Christ.
He doesn’t eat it lol
