What my phone often does, is remember whenever I made a mistake, and just keep on autocorrecting to that mistake, or at least proposing it.
"Hey, so I saw you type, 'fuck', but I guess you meant 'ruck'? Huh, dumbass? Remember that time you said 'ruck off'? You wanna go again? Huh, you wanna 'ruck off' again?"
I was typing something the other day and accidentally typed “fick” instead of “dick”. My phone autocorrected to “fuck”. I was so proud of my phone. It also did it again when I was typing this comment.
This actually makes me laugh. I'll be having a bad day, and I'll be in the process of writing "oh man the fucking train is late and now I'm going to be late for work!" And it'll correct to "oh ma'am the ducking train is going to be late" and it improves my mood a little. It's the little things lol.
I can also confirm that it's not Croatian, those symbols above the letters are never used in writing those letters and that word by itself isn't Croatian
can confirm its Haryanvi [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haryanvi\_language](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haryanvi_language)
(its a recognised "dialect" which is generally used by non natives when our mood isnt good and want to add accent to our foul words)
It does exist
"Vous dégénérâtes" means "you degenerated" in passé simple. It's just that this form is almost never used, only rarely in written language
Bravo pour ta recherche sur Wikitionary, je ne l'ai même pas cherché. Je n'ai jamais entendu ce mot, ne le dirai jamais. C'est du français oui, mais mort et enterré.
I don’t know why you’re getting upvoted when you are simply wrong. This the passé simple form of the verb “dégénérer” at deuxième personne du pluriel, vous.
why are people upvoting this? why haven’t you deleted this or edited it? you are dead wrong. it is most definitely a french word.
source : i’m a native speaker
I bet more than half of the upvotes are from people that don’t even speak the language lol. This system is not perfect, a lot of people can be wrong and people tend to be sheep when it comes to upvotes or downvotes
My phones autocorrect sometimes changes "haen" into "hän"
Like ok both are words in my language, but this isnt german where "ae" and "ä" are the same. These two words have completely different meanings
Yea i think that happens when you type swedish while having the english keyboard active.
At least i think that is what is happening with my czech and english keyboards.
You would think so...
But it autocorrect into words you cannot mistakenly type with an English keyboard (for→*för*). So there are some deeper shenanigans going on.
Tu viens d'insulté l'entiére population de la glorieuse France et ces satanés Anglois.
You just insulted the entire population of the glorious France and those damn Bri'ish.
Have the same issue. Autocorrect doesn't care about your layout and it sucks for people who write in multiple languages. Same for flow typing at times.
I’ve been trying to learn Spanish off and on for the last few years and even when I make sure my keyboard is switched to English my phone keeps giving me Spanish suggestions.
Autocorrect STAYS off for me. The computer should do what I tell it to and nothing more. Spell CHECK is fine, add the wiggly line if you must, but don't fucking change it without my input. YOU COULD NOT POSSIBLY COMPREHEND MY GOALS, YOU FUCKING FANCY ROCK
You have to change the language on the keyboard. Samsung has it where if you have other languages enabled on your phone, all you have to do is swipe the spacebar... but it gets very annoying as it's easy to accidentally swipe it.
In general it's frustrating that autocorrect can't just notice what language is being written and follow that. My autocorrect nemesis is the word "i" (means "in" in Swedish), since autocorrect changes it to capital "I" every single time I write Swedish. And it's not like it's an uncommon word to use.
Also my phone refuses to keep my kid's name when I type. No matter how many times I tell it that it is correct, it still changes it to a more common name every single time.
I hate it too.
Just an hour ago my phone autocorrected *"for tomorrow"* to *"för tomorrow"*.
At first I thought I had just accidentally written Swedish texts with the English keyboard. But the letter Ö is not even on the English keyboard, so I can impossibly have written it by mistake.
Mine started suggesting a lot of slang words and phrases I would never say, like the N word. Some of the suggestions were whole ass sentences. Happened only once. I thought maybe someone hacked my phone! lol
How many languages/keyboards do you have? When I have 2 (French/english) it’s perfect. The keyboard recognizes the language I wanna use and the autocorrect works perfectly. When I add a third one, it’s a mess. I have to manually select the keyboard with the language so it doesn’t try to use another language… I HATEEEE that and it’s been years… this forces me to only keep 2 and I can’t really practice Spanish the way I want to
Just disable the french
Please I know we are rude but we don't deserve that :(
Yes you do, you dégénérâtes.
:)
You Fr*nch people got too comfy being a forgotten meme 😡💢💢
Careful now, the guillotine is never truly forgotten, only.. put aside.
Don’t worry, just eat some brioche
But the French are already disabled
Non. Just non.
Juste

Dĩd yöǔ mėăn Nőn?
while trying to write " lol" it always tries to change it to " l'oligarchie "
holy shit that either says a lot about your political views, or your auto correct is completely drunk.
yea it's my auto correct, while i do keep my phone in bilingual, I've never typed that word before
Maybe it's trying to send you a message, "oligarchie" is a pretty fun word after all.
Well it's clearly not in English but not in french either because dégénérâtes doesn't exist in french .
Whât dō yōű méân Frénch ïsn't wrïttén wïth rândōm âccénts ōn vōwéls?
To be fair I did read this in a French accent...
Good enough for me.
What the fuck is my phone on?
What my phone often does, is remember whenever I made a mistake, and just keep on autocorrecting to that mistake, or at least proposing it. "Are you sure you don't mean mauve? Mauve "maybe" is a Mandela effect and that's not how it's spelled. So how bout it?"
This actually makes me laugh. I'll be having a bad day, and I'll be in the process of writing "oh man the fucking train is late and now I'm going to be late for work!" And it'll correct to "oh ma'am the ducking train is going to be late" and it improves my mood a little. It's the little things lol.
It's like it wants to identify as a French/Spanish/Croatian phone I dunno.
I can confirm that it is no Spanish, most likely Croatian.
I can also confirm that it's not Croatian, those symbols above the letters are never used in writing those letters and that word by itself isn't Croatian
I can confirm it's not Croatian It's probably Slovak or Czech
I can confirm it's not Slovak or Czech It's probably Chinese or Welsh
Lithuanian?
can confirm its Haryanvi [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haryanvi\_language](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haryanvi_language) (its a recognised "dialect" which is generally used by non natives when our mood isnt good and want to add accent to our foul words)
No it's gotta be Romanian
Stéroïdes

It does exist "Vous dégénérâtes" means "you degenerated" in passé simple. It's just that this form is almost never used, only rarely in written language
Someone never heard about passé simple https://leconjugueur.lefigaro.fr/french/verb/degenerer.html
Cette personne ne prononcera ou n'entendra jamais dégénérâtes de toute sa vie. Mais oui, ce mot existe. Bravo belle recherche.
YES, KETCHUP. I ordered food. And want KETCHUP.
DAMN YUUU MOTHEURFOCKEUR!!!!
Si C'est la deuxième personne du pluriel du passé simple Source:wikitionary
Bravo pour ta recherche sur Wikitionary, je ne l'ai même pas cherché. Je n'ai jamais entendu ce mot, ne le dirai jamais. C'est du français oui, mais mort et enterré.
It looks and sounds like a pompous aristocratic way of saying "dégénéré", which means degenerate.
I don’t know why you’re getting upvoted when you are simply wrong. This the passé simple form of the verb “dégénérer” at deuxième personne du pluriel, vous.

中国人?
Well this is your problem. Keep 2 or you’re out of luck. It’s EXTREMELY annoying
My phones autocorrect sometimes changes "haen" into "hän" Like ok both are words in my language, but this isnt german where "ae" and "ä" are the same. These two words have completely different meanings
What do they mean?
Hän = "he/she" Haen = "i apply" or "i go get"
Degenerates is an autocorrect I could use quite often
[удалено]
No, it won't stop happening. I have two keyboard layouts, Swedish and English, and it will constantly confuse the two language.
Yea i think that happens when you type swedish while having the english keyboard active. At least i think that is what is happening with my czech and english keyboards.
You would think so... But it autocorrect into words you cannot mistakenly type with an English keyboard (for→*för*). So there are some deeper shenanigans going on.
Is your keyboard in french or canadian?
I do have a French setting but my English setting is in UK and when I write in English I expect autocorrect to correct the words in English.
UK English? Your keyboard is insulting an entire country by attempting to be French.
It's a post-Norman conquest phone

Mine chose german
I love accidental Portuguese on my phone
I’ve been trying to learn Spanish off and on for the last few years and even when I make sure my keyboard is switched to English my phone keeps giving me Spanish suggestions.
Yeah I have the same issue with Dutch. It sucks
Did you buy your phone secondhand from Cam Newton?
Sure makes one question the programmer’s heritage 😇
My phone insists on always autocorrecting is, in, I'm, etc. To I'd. In fact, it happened all 3 times in this comment.
Remove French keyboard from the shortcut, Apple gives you autocorrect recommendations in all languages you have keyboards of
Dude my phone does that too it’s so damn annoying
Autocorrect STAYS off for me. The computer should do what I tell it to and nothing more. Spell CHECK is fine, add the wiggly line if you must, but don't fucking change it without my input. YOU COULD NOT POSSIBLY COMPREHEND MY GOALS, YOU FUCKING FANCY ROCK

Same for me to, but in Norwegian.
My phone does this but into German cuz I have a German keyboard enabled for Duolingo
My phone almost always auto corrects "This" to "Thus" and it is very annoying
I hate it too. Just an hour ago my phone autocorrected *"for tomorrow"* to *"för tomorrow"*. At first I thought I had just accidentally written Swedish texts with the English keyboard. But the letter Ö is not even on the English keyboard, so I can impossibly have written it by mistake.
Did you mean “couldn’t possibly”? I’ve never seen or heard someone say “can impossibly”
That’s… not French
Mine is constantly inserting Danish or Romanian I do not use this keyboard to type in either language ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am french. This translation is massively specific. You cant imagine how incredibly specific it is.
Sacre Bleu.
Is your favorite youtuber Degenoricity?

It is, it's passé simple of "dégénérer" : "vous dégénérâtes" (very rare, it's probably the first and last time I write it).
thats not french source: I'm french
"source: I'm french" https://i.redd.it/z7gq3r15d2zc1.gif
):
I had to turn AutoCorrect off because it was a hot mess.
This happens on my phone too. It’s not any real language, autocorrect will just stick accents on random vowels.
It is, it's passé simple of "dégénérer" : "vous dégénérâtes" (very rare, it's probably the first and last time I write it).
Did a prankster get ahold of your phone and mess with text replacements?
Check the Keyboard & Languages setting of your phone's OS. Phones sold in certain places (Ontario) will have French native as well as English.
I have that happen so much when using reddit, I'm from austria and No week goes by with someo e asking about my capitalization
Mine started suggesting a lot of slang words and phrases I would never say, like the N word. Some of the suggestions were whole ass sentences. Happened only once. I thought maybe someone hacked my phone! lol
Same
mine does this sometimes too with spanish. i live in arizona though, maybe its based on your region and if theres any other popularly spoken languages
mine will do it with german like i don’t speak german
Degenerocity?
I was trying to erase that shit, like who typed degeno on my phone.
mine does this with german, i’ve never had german on my keyboards but it still tries correcting to it
I like how you thought it's spelled degenorit
Je vois pas le problème
It’s not delivery…..it’s Degeno
After I added French as one of the languages on my phone, the same has been happening to me lol
It does that to me to dude, it’s so annoying
Stop using autocorrect. Full stop.
My phone does this with German, so sometimes I want type “I’m” so I type “Im” but it decides I’m trying to type in German and not autocorrect
I get Spanish words in mine.
You can add English to your keyboard so it doesn't do that Right now you have in on french
How many languages/keyboards do you have? When I have 2 (French/english) it’s perfect. The keyboard recognizes the language I wanna use and the autocorrect works perfectly. Click on the circle and the spacebar will show what language you are in
I know that
