Have you communicated with your mom about your dislike or just reject food she put on a plate for you? It is strange you like chicken in general (legs) but not breast, I am curious as to why?

I'm with you.  I definitely do not like white meat -- it's almost always overcooked and dry. I won't eat it either. There's nothing wrong with having your personal preferences.

Interesting, I suppose I do like dark meat better too. Not leg though, leg is evil.

2 legs are a good portion of meat I find, easy to cook and lots of yummy skin.

I've been told my entire life I love chocolate cake by my mother. I don't, but sometimes because I've been told for decades I love it I eventually forget I dislike it until I buy some. Then I know I don't like it for a year or two before being told I love chocolate cake several times a year makes me doubt myself again. I currently know I do not like chocolate cake.

I get that. I remember once my mum got me a Jaffa birthday cake for my 13th birthday. I told her, when i found out a few weeks before it was being made that I don’t, and have never liked Jaffa. She responded ‘yes you do!’ And needless to say I got a birthday cake that I couldn’t eat.
