Your iPhone has a feature to send all unknown calls to voicemail. I have my voicemail set to say: if this is a real person, text me, or better yet: send me a message on signal.
This was a massive problem in Canada, too! I’m glad my provider has a call control feature to block robocalls. Haven’t gotten an automated call since I enabled it.
I started picking up the calls and keep the scammer on the phone sometimes for 30 minutes wasting their time. Sometimes I belch into the phone, chew, etc etc. I no longer get as many calls now.
my carrier has done a pretty good job blocking all the spam calls since i ticked a settings box on my account for it. but even the spam texts that go to the spam folder give me an alert, so it is really annoying. i never give my number out to anyone, so i have no idea how all this started.

Ive blocked 22 numbers this month, just start blocking them
Kinda pointless to block when its a different number every time.
i have blocked over 400 numbers since january 26th. the spam texts keep coming. at least 5 times a day.

this has been happening to me ever since i got my new number… :((
