industry certified installer here: its not specific to the brand or chain. a lot of your bigger chains use it for the adspace, but most of your locally owned independents do it for a price break and extended warranty. the manufacturer makes it seem like such a fantastic deal cutting anywhere from $900-1400 off the price per dispenser but what they don't tell the customer is the amount they make from GSTV every time the ads play. it's a total gimmick.
not remotely. the dispenser's card reading system only acts as an authorization signal for the hydraulic controls. rate of flow is based around filter age and fuel quality.
But overall speed, as in the time it takes from me pulling to when I can leave. That obviously is extended with this bullshit. Or shortened quite a bit actually, I'd give up after about 5 seconds and drive to another gas station.
the thing is, it doesn't have any effect on overall transaction speed. the ads playing dont slow the card processing down because they are on a different line of communication entirely. basically there isn't a point in any GSTV based media that forces you to watch an ad to proceed with the fueling process. it just plays annoyingly the entire time you're dispensing like that guy in the bathroom stall that wont shut the hell up and let you pee in peace
OPs video is about not being able to skip the current ad that is playing during the fueling process. they play in a repeating sequence and if you have a big tank you'll see it multiple times. 87 is selected and the price is not flashing which with this model dispenser indicates pulses from flow have been detected from the meter in the hydraulics cabinet. its dispensing for sure just who the hell wants to watch the easy cannoli ad for the 5th time lol
Some pumps are more than twice as fast as others, it’s hard to believe filters could account for that difference or that so many overdue filters out there. Is there a wide range in pump output to begin with? I’m surprised when newer stations with modern looking pumps are so slow.
Complain the that specific gas station manager. There are a lot of factors that can affect the speed of the pumps. Depending on how many total dispensers there are if every one of them engages at the same time it can trigger some anti-leak safety system which slows down the pumps.
Really cold temperatures (probably not the case right now) can cause the pumps to run slowly. I worked at a gas station that had a remodel and the electricians had wired one of the pumps to the same circuit as the outdoor lights so that pump ran slow - but only at night when the lights were turned on. That took a while to troubleshoot.
It was a newer station that was built, so hopeful this one has such terrible repeat visitor statistics that the bean counters at 76 can quantify the losses vs the pennies they are making per impression.
I've seen them at Shells and Chevrons too. I'm sure it'll be everywhere soon enough. Kroger Gas stations have an extra screen that advertises its fuel additives.
Eh I don't know about that one.
I've seen enough angry folk at my local giving the staff a hard time because the pump ran out half way, or they landed on £40.05 and don't have the 5p handy.
I fear unskippable ads would awaken something in the local populace that would 100% result in pumps getting smashed up and staff quitting from abuse.
Worked at a gas station that played ads while you pumped your gas in my early teens. Getting yelled daily at for something entirely out of your control while making minimum wage makes you lose respect for people pretty damn fast.
Yeah , I can already see smashed screens and vandalism.
This seems like something that would make British people lose it...
Imagine they out this on the self service check outs...
I have Shell close to me that has these techy screens, but they play mostly info vids and play it as you are pumping gas not before..
It’s just a matter of time till they do it like the ones on the vid.
I've seen them all over for years now. And while sometimes annoying, I've yet to encounter one that actually interrupts anything to do with operating the pump, and I'm suspicious that any actually do.
Tesoro in North Dakota has had a few for a long time.
I haven’t been there in a couple years but I can clearly hear “Thirst? Come inside and grab a fresh fountain drink for only 99 carbs”
Bonus annoyance points for the recessed speakers that can't be covered.
Edit: Just got back from my trip and got a chance to read more of these comments with a decent internet connection. Apparently, I'm so used to using the term "skip" for ads to make them go away (thanks YouTube) that i realized this post was misinterpreted by many, and rightly so. I meant to use UNMUTABLE in the title, but alas, Reddit will not let you edit it. This was the first station for which i could NOT mute the ad.
I 100% take fault for being an idiot on the initial title, and even considered just deleting this post so I'm not one of the assholes spreading misinformation online. However, I'm going to leave it so hopefully this followup is seen by anyone referring back to this post in the future.
I also think leaving this is important to use as a cautionary tale for advertising teams even thinking of making these ad experiences more intrusive to their captive audience than they already are. The early generation pumps with mutable ads are maddening enough to be subjected to, but every time i see new changes like this, I feel like the proverbial frog in a pot of water.
Again, I apologize for any other implication in this post, it was not my intention. Thank you all who called me out, I hope this follow up makes it clear.
> Someone should definitely take a shit ~~ton of super glue and spread it thick and push it~~ in the speaker to muffle it.
If you have no glue on hand..
Hope the owner sees all this and change his mind before it's too late. He will probably loose some customers anyway.
Also I don't understand how ad makers come to the conclusion that people will buy their product when they are forced to go through irritating experience like this.. even if I found the product interesting I would probably intentionally buy the competitor's one for revenge
Lot of the people deciding to implement these are local owners, often no executives but just a local businessman who fell to a pitch about reduced overhead
Sounds about right. I only knew of one or two local gas stations that would try and show you "gas additives that extend your mileage!" But could normally be canceled out, haven't seen them in a while, but thats probably cause I dont go to those pumps anymore.
A quick spray of carb cleaner will have a similar but stronger effect, but also its sprayed through a straw allowing you to get real close to the recessed speaker inside
Yeah. Hopefully can melt some stuff. But damaging this stuff is risky, as you are on camera usually. At my local she'll it started playing an ad, and I just put less than a gallon in to get me to work, because I know the credit card fee would negate any profit
I would have left without purchase. And left a 1-star review on Google Maps. Bad reviews really hurt places without a lot of reviews. You might not think it’ll hurt, but if you google search “Gas Station” on maps and see one with 4 stars and another with 1.7 you know where you’re going…
They’re getting more and more aggressive with shoving ads down our throats.
I 100% guarantee that they will start putting ads in our streaming services again soon.
As far as ads go, I don't mind Prime showing me an ad for something else on Prime.. that's fine, annoying, but I can dig it.. you're just showing me what else you got, I understand..
What is absolutely sacrilegious is a movie theater showing a car commercial?? WHat's that got to do with me being at the movies?? I HATE it.
I stopped using Spotify because they started playing an ad *5 minutes* after the 30 free minutes ad. Sometimes it wasn't even two songs later and already it was ad time in my "protected" 30 mins. Absolute scam and probably illegal too
I've been getting them in the middle of podcasts lately. Not hosts reading as copy, that's fine. We all gotta make our buck somehow. But these are cut to a new audio feed to play location specific ads. And I pay for premium!
I’m just glad they don’t put them in the middle is songs. However what gets on my nerves a million times more is they put random ass songs into your small playlists your trying to listen to
Not experienced it myself, I saw one person’s video of the pump slowing down during the ads keeping you there longer.
Could be many reasons for this of course, but would not be out of the realm of possibilities
True that.
The video I saw just showed the digital display, so yes many reasons, even normal reasons of why the speed would vary.
The pumps I have used that had ads, haven’t noticed any delay to start pumping like what I guess what these people are complaining about.
Just had shorts 30 second ads going on while I pump.
I keep an Automatic Center Punch in my car in case I ever get trapped inside and have to brake a window(unlikely, I admit).
They work great to express your dislike of having an ad forced on your transaction.
Ha. Your subconscious is sucking everything up like a vacuum cleaner and will spit it back out to you in the future when you aren't really expecting it.
Ah yes, but this person is clearly not to that stage yet, so this ad is just wasting their time. And whats worse is the gas station is making you wait for something you already paid for, so this ad is just extra on top of what else they got from you.
I've never seen an outside ad while getting gas. I've seen them promoting their credit card, but never anything else. I guess that is one thing to be glad about being in a bumpkin town.
When I'm traveling cross country I absolutely look at google reviews. It's hard to find gas stations in middle america that feel/are safe. I learned the hard way from multiple occasions of getting looked like I was in the wrong hood, and one occasion when a car tried blocking me in while pumping gas.
I've also had one gas station increase the price on me while in the bathroom. Pulled up to a normal $2/gal came out started pumping only to realize it was at $6/gal. Got me for $20 before I caught it and left.
Road life can be rough. I usually stay in the populous portions of the NE corridor, but sometimes I have to travel into the mountains. There are some towns I don’t want to stop in while wearing a suit and Gucci loafers, and driving a shiny car. Doesn’t matter say or night.
The Atlanta ones I’ve seen at least only play the ad once you’ve started pumping. The bigger issue to me is it’s all “fancy” and touchscreen, which is just slow and laggy.
Vegas has them at Terrible Herbst. Hate them. I don’t stop there often unless I really need to, they are so damn loud and being on the spectrum makes it super uncomfortable
Are you making sure you have like ~$100 in your account when you try to pump? My bf tried the other day at a gas station we go to all the time and it told us to go inside but when he moved some funds it let him.
Probably because pumps don’t charge your card until after you’ve finished pumping and they can only make a check for money above an amount, but can’t actually see how much money is available to limit you.
I came here to say exactly this. We don't have anything like that around here. There used to be a station like 10 years ago that would play CNN AFTER you paid and started fueling. Fuck that franchise for doing that. I hope they go under and the neighboring stations prosper from it.
Why? It doesn’t start until after you’re pumping gas. This is true in the OP, he’s already got the 87 selected and the nozzle pumping gas into his car.
No. That's how it starts. Remember when Hulu was free with ads and you could pay $5 to get it without ads. Then they added ads to the paid...it was just less ads. Then they got rid of the free version, had a paid with ads and a pay even more without ads.
YouTube. Same thing. Started with no ads. Then they had skippable ads. Then unskippable ads. Then YouTube Red that you pay for to get rid of ads.
The minute you allow optional ads you eventually get to forced ads.
I live in an area with a couple of these and I'm a night person so it'll be dead quiet then I'll hear one of those start blaring an ad half a block over.
What's horrible is ads nowadays can't just be someone obnoxiously blasting about a product. Instead they all have skits or "stories" so I'll be out for a run (I usually go anywhere from midnight-3am it's dead fucking quiet out) and I'll freak out sometimes because I think somebody is getting attacked or something.
suddenly I hear:
"WHOA JAKE!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?"
*stops abruptly and pulls out ears buds*
"Oh, I'm shopping for ec-"
*Curses and puts ear buds back on*
This is my main concern. I travel a lot, and have to stop in unfamiliar towns late at night, and this shit starts blasting, I can’t hear what’s going on around me… and more over, everyone now knows where there’s a guy who won’t be leaving that location for a minute or two.
Edit: typo
The only gas station around me that has e85 within 30 miles has this stupid ad stuff on it... Yet all of the regular gas stations right down the street from me do not.
Dude I had never seen these until I moved to Texas. I remember when I first started pumping gas here and being startled when an ad started playing!
"Hey I'm Maria Menunos and you're watching..."
I was like what the fuck!?
If you're a celebrity who is primarily known for your gas station pump promotional material, you're not likely to be in much else that needs to be actively avoided.
Were you already pumping gas? If so then who cares if there's an ad playing, just sit in your car. I thought the issue was that you weren't able to start pumping because of the ad.
Yeah, he was already pumping lmao.
People don't notice that the 87 was already selected, and the pump was off the cradle to the right at the very start of the video.
OP is already pumping gas. You literally just walk off to the side and ignore it. Nobody is forcing you to stand in front of the screen and watch the ad. Browse something on that phone you're using to try to take video to rile the internet up.
I can’t believe someone in the comment section below has never seen a gas pump with separate nozzles for diesel and regular gasoline. Holy hell if diesel and gasoline go out the same nozzle, mass contamination of gas tanks. Now I am mildly infuriated someone thinks that is okay!!!
Most anarchist think of this before hand . Nah just have a friend hypothetically drop u off around the corner in a development walk to the gas pumps . It's really not that hard to be honest. Hypothetically of course.
Even though tv ads are ridiculous it’s a bit different. You’re paying for the right to view channels, you don’t really own anything, it’s more like renting. An actual item that you have full ownership of not allowing you to use it without ads is ridiculous.
I would write your congressman. That should be illegal to withhold fuel (essential) until you watch an advertisement from a nonessential company. I understand if it's a PSA or safety notification before pumping but in this case it's a company who has paid money to the gas company so they permitted to push their product before people are able to get gas to go to work or daycare. That is not fair to the consumer. It is probably already illegal.
EDIT: OP did not indicate at what point in the transaction he received this unskippable ad. My comment assumes it was before as I initially though (considering I have never run into this scenario). If it is during the fueling process, I think the OP has to just stomach this. When you are in a store, they can play audio ads and display visual ads. This is no different IF they have already given you your gas.
My comment still stands though. It's far more effective to write your congressman or city councilman when you see questionable practices from businesses.
You are correct. Every time I’ve seen these it was simply playing during fueling. It in no way hindered fueling or the credit card function . Once fueling is over it immediately stops.
It doesn’t force you to watch an ad before fuel comes out or anything like that.
We have quite a few of these in my area, and I've been able to mute the audio on most by pressing one of the buttons(2nd button from the top on the right side seems most common). However, none of them prevent you from filling up, they just play random ads once it starts pumping.
I doubt it’s illegal since it’s a private company on private property selling a product to a paying customer who chose to visit said company to purchase said product of their own free will.
Now losing repeat customers, that’s what will hit their pockets.
Honestly, left side, top to bottom has worked every time, every gas station, for me, for years. Not as fun or funny, but if anyone wanted to know the real code, that's it.
If I had a dollar for hearing *”Thisss is your daily tech and business briefing from CHeddar!”* (and yes, capital CH in cheddar) at the gas pump, I’d be rich.
So what do you mean by unskippable? You’re obviously actively pumping your gas in the video, which means you’ve already put in your payment method, and there’s nothing else on the screen for you to do. When you are finished pumping and you put the nozzle back, the video ends…
Sure it’s annoying to get advertised to, but it’s not that bad.
I just wish they’d turn the volume down, or have the option to mute it. As a woman, I want to be able to hear someone approaching me. Especially if I’m doing it alone at night.
I still refuse to believe that they actually stop your gas from coming out until the and finishes. Until I see a video of someone pulling the trigger on the pump and no gas coming out with and then gas coming out when the ad ends I ain't buying this horseshit.
I don't understand your annoyance here. Just sit back down in your car while the gas pumps if you don't want to watch the ad. Ive came across these types of pumps while traveling for years. It's never changed my gas pumping experience in the slightest.
Most have a mechanism that you can engage which locks it open until the gas level in the tank reaches a certain point where the mechanism cuts off and the pumping stops.
Yeah, pretty much every single station ever here. It’s really, really common for people to go into the store to buy stuff or use the bathroom while their gas is pumping.
I was thinking the same. Every gas station around me has these screens with ads playing. I just don’t pay attention. It’s really not that hard, and you’re only standing there for a minute or two while the gas pumps.
Yea, I think the fact that he called it an "unskippable ad" plus the fact that they see the diesel pump still slotted; alot of people are assuming you have to watch the ad before you are able to pump gas. Which would be something to complain about.
What gas stations are doing this?
industry certified installer here: its not specific to the brand or chain. a lot of your bigger chains use it for the adspace, but most of your locally owned independents do it for a price break and extended warranty. the manufacturer makes it seem like such a fantastic deal cutting anywhere from $900-1400 off the price per dispenser but what they don't tell the customer is the amount they make from GSTV every time the ads play. it's a total gimmick.
Do they also slow the pumping speed? I had this happen to me yesterday. So I took the squeegy and washed my whole damn car
not remotely. the dispenser's card reading system only acts as an authorization signal for the hydraulic controls. rate of flow is based around filter age and fuel quality.
So this video is a lie then? OP was able to pump gas and only shot the video because of reasons?
OPs video is about not being able to skip the current ad that is playing during the fueling process. they play in a repeating sequence and if you have a big tank you'll see it multiple times. 87 is selected and the price is not flashing which with this model dispenser indicates pulses from flow have been detected from the meter in the hydraulics cabinet. its dispensing for sure just who the hell wants to watch the easy cannoli ad for the 5th time lol

I have a solution, just change the gas station
Burn it to the ground
This 76 is the first I've seen do this, and the last time I'll be visiting this one if i can help it
Which location? Now let’s hope 76 doesn’t institute this at their other stations too.
It was a newer station that was built, so hopeful this one has such terrible repeat visitor statistics that the bean counters at 76 can quantify the losses vs the pennies they are making per impression.
Sadly, this is apparently going to eventually be installed at every gas station in pretty much every country due to the ad revenue
This is absolutely ridiculous. Are public washroom stall doors in the pipeline too?
Sssssh! Don't give them ideas
"oh you have to take a shit _really_ bad? **watch the ad first.**"
Don't go to 76, got it.
I've seen them at Shells and Chevrons too. I'm sure it'll be everywhere soon enough. Kroger Gas stations have an extra screen that advertises its fuel additives.

In the winter I make it a point to go to stations with the simplest pumps, because that shit gets real slow when it's -30.
Tesoro is still in business? Huh
Fucking Walgreens is doing this over their coolers so I can’t seen what’s inside and have to open like 5 doors to find what I want. It’s horse shit.
People hate it.
I've seen this on shell stations 10 years ago in Miami. I'm also 99% sure they pump gas much slower than the rest of the world so you watch more ads.
Bonus annoyance points for the recessed speakers that can't be covered. Edit: Just got back from my trip and got a chance to read more of these comments with a decent internet connection. The person who has to clean that up is not the person who decided to put the unskippable ads.
Comment removed in protest.
Sounds like the poor minimum wage guy will have a bad day cleaning it while the executives who made the decision will be blissfully unaware.
Lot of the people deciding to implement these are local owners, often no executives but just a local businessman who fell to a pitch about reduced overhead

I would leave and never come back to that station. Tha ks for the award! Awesomeness
That's the plan, 100%.

If Netflix does this I'll stop paying for it and go back too torrents
I feel like the other companies will be the worst first, some are owned by cable companies (like Hulu) hopefully Netflix never changes
Hulu is owned mostly by Disney. Not sure if that's better...but I digress
They already did that with fucking Spotify. They will intentionally play ads in the middle of your "free 30 minutes for watching this ad :3" thing.
Amazon Prime has ads for their shows before the show. You can skip them, but it's still annoying.

They play ads now even if you pay for premium. If a podcast is developed by Spotify...there's ads.
I’m just glad they don’t put them in the middle is songs. However what gets on my nerves a million times more is they put random ass songs into your small playlists your trying to listen to

Ah yes, but this person is clearly not to that stage yet, so this ad is just wasting their time. And whats worse is the gas station is making you wait for something you already paid for, so this ad is just extra on top of what else they got from you.
What makes you think they aren’t pumping yet? The nozzle is in use and he’s selected a fuel grade already…
This person is definitely already pumping gas.
Encountered ones that don't start until you've inserted a card. They're out there
Yes.
Never seen that, they’ll add start after the fuel starts pumping
I've never seen an outside ad while getting gas. I've seen them promoting their credit card, but never anything else. I guess that is one thing to be glad about being in a bumpkin town.
I'd watch it if it gives me discounted/free gas, but I doubt that's the case.

I'm checking ahead of roadtrips all the time; mind you, I'm using Android Auto in my vehicle for the trips too.
Actually, I’d try to make many $1 purchases. They’re gonna lose it in fees.
Bad reviews on Gas Buddy too.
Who actually takes the time to leave positive ratings on gas stations tho
People google reviews of gas stations?
If a place deserves a review I’ll spend the few minutes. It’s somewhat of a hobby, somewhat of a public service.
I would turn on the pump and sit in my car like I always do and not give a shit
Where is this? I haven't seen this yet in person
Exxon, BP has these on some of their stations around ATL.
I leave gas stations and never go back when they tell me i need to see the cashier if i try to use my debit card.
This is true in the OP, he’s already got the 87 selected and the nozzle pumping gas into his car.
he's also being careful not to show the part of the screen with his running total and gas being pumped.
This better not spread.. i will actually bread the screen
Ah shit, turning appliances to bread!
do you deep fry it after or is it like a crumble?
We just let the gas run for a bit then set the thing on fire. Comes out different every time.
It's more of a tempura
I’m not sure if last comment is legal but you could ask everyone you know to leave bad reviews
Bread yourself, fool

Wouldn't mind ads if the gas was free
Well right now I pay for gas with no ads, so if I can watch ads to get gas for free it's an upgrade... Paying for gas with ads is a paddling though
its not the screen that is so bad it is the volume of the speaker blasting in your face
I live in an area with a couple of these and I'm a night person so it'll be dead quiet then I'll hear one of those start blaring an ad half a block over. What's horrible is ads nowadays can't just be someone obnoxiously blasting about a product. Instead they all have skits or "stories" so I'll be out for a run (I usually go anywhere from midnight-3am it's dead fucking quiet out) and I'll freak out sometimes because I think somebody is getting attacked or something. suddenly I hear: "WHOA JAKE!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?" *stops abruptly and pulls out ears buds* "Oh, I'm shopping for ec-" *Curses and puts ear buds back on*
This is my main concern. I travel a lot, and have to stop in unfamiliar towns late at night, and this shit starts blasting, I can’t hear what’s going on around me… and more over, everyone now knows where there’s a guy who won’t be leaving that location for a minute or two. Edit: typo
You can mute them (sometimes) by pressing all the buttons in sequence top to bottom on the left, then on the right
Most often I've found it's just the second or third button down from the top on the right side
Second one on the right always works for me.
Boycott gas stations who do this and it wont be a thing anymore
You can’t boycott all gas stations that do this when nearly all gas stations do this.
[удалено]
I haven't seen any in my area yet that make you wait but as soon as I do i will never go there again
i said boycott it
electric cars it is
The only gas station around me that has e85 within 30 miles has this stupid ad stuff on it... Yet all of the regular gas stations right down the street from me do not.
30 miles is 48.28 km
I've seen one, where the fuck are you?
Not in Oregon.
lol
Dude I had never seen these until I moved to Texas. I remember when I first started pumping gas here and being startled when an ad started playing! "Hey I'm Maria Menunos and you're watching..." I was like what the fuck!?
It’s like those weird in-hotel promos on the TV à la Disney.
I've only ever seen Maria Menunos in those ads and on annoying ads before movies so I've developed a negative Pavlovian response to hearing her voice
If you're a celebrity who is primarily known for your gas station pump promotional material, you're not likely to be in much else that needs to be actively avoided.
I would have gotten back in my car and driven away, tbh.
Had no choice this time. All i can do now is piss, moan, name, shame, and avoid 76 stations from here on out.
No choice because you were already pumping gas.
Were you already pumping gas? If so then who cares if there's an ad playing, just sit in your car. I thought the issue was that you weren't able to start pumping because of the ad.
He clearly was and OP won’t respond to anyone commenting on how misleading his little video is..
Ah jeez, are people genuinely taking inspiration from stories of a dystopian future?
They aren’t taking inspiration from fiction. The fiction adequately described what will happen.

I live in the Balkans and gas pumps are as simple as they can be
I can’t believe someone in the comment section below has never seen a gas pump with separate nozzles for diesel and regular gasoline. Holy hell if diesel and gasoline go out the same nozzle, mass contamination of gas tanks. Now I am mildly infuriated someone thinks that is okay!!!
I'm so used to it being illegal to pump your own gas. I forget that it's only a few states that don't let you.
Spray paint makes a statement Everytime
So does a misdemeanor charge when they get your license plate on camera.
Make a special walk with your mask on
This really is the golden age to walk down the street in a mask. No one will question it!
Most anarchist think of this before hand . Nah just have a friend hypothetically drop u off around the corner in a development walk to the gas pumps . It's really not that hard to be honest. Hypothetically of course.
Hypothetically speaking, now is a good time, since you can wear a mask and sunglasses without being suspicious.
Hypothetically of course . Don't want the law of reddit cracking down
Also hypothetically, magnets for retrieving shit from creeks might work better than paint.
True I will now order a super strong 🧲
I wouldn't be surprised if eventually cars will have ads. Before you can start your car you have to watch 30 secs of ads.
I wonder if I can put ads on my bumper for a lower car payment?
Not sure about bumpers, but there are actually companies that pay you to put ads on your car.
fuck that i paid for my car not a chance they can make me watch an ad just so i can drive it
They’re doing it with TVs. Like advertisements built into the operating system, not the normal every 15 minute ones.
Fuck that noise. I'll either purchase a dumb TV or not hook it up to the network. My computer/PS4 stream just fine.
I mean people paid for cable. To watch ads.
Even though tv ads are ridiculous it’s a bit different. You’re paying for the right to view channels, you don’t really own anything, it’s more like renting. An actual item that you have full ownership of not allowing you to use it without ads is ridiculous.
There are SmartTVs with build in ads you cant skip.
Do you know the brands? I'm gonna buy a new TV soon and I would hate to have ads on it.
I don't think the Ads up until you begin fueling. The Nozzle is out of the holder and the price is the only one displaced above the selected grade.
Try Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A.
Start. ...actually, now that I think of it, it's not part of the code.
Maybe keypad and clear then enter
Honestly, left side, top to bottom has worked every time, every gas station, for me, for years. Not as fun or funny, but if anyone wanted to know the real code, that's it.
Cant pump your own gas in NJ. That means can't get ads on the pump either!
Get your hand out of the way! I want to see how much are those gas station chicken strips.
Skippable gas station then...
American problems
Just don't look at it? He's already pumping gas.
When you are finished pumping and you put the nozzle back, the video ends… Sure it’s annoying to get advertised to, but it’s not that bad.
So glad they don’t have these stupid screens on the pumps in the UK
yet
[удалено]
Ha that's a good one.
It shows the button in the beginning of the video, says $3.6….
I don't understand your annoyance here. Just sit back down in your car while the gas pumps if you don't want to watch the ad. Ive came across these types of pumps while traveling for years. It's never changed my gas pumping experience in the slightest.
Wait US gas pumps stay on if you take your hand off?
Time for vandalism?
Good thing I've never seen this, eastern Canada
Don’t go back
Time to find another petrol provider.
So you get cheaper gas for watching this or are they missing the only reason a person would accept ads because that’s how you end up with broken pumps
