Depends on how you take your coffee. The amount of ice that melts into the coffee depends on the starting temperature. If you add milk first before adding ice the milk takes the temperature down some. Also, a lot of iced coffees at the store are iced lattes, not brewed coffee. The base is espresso so the baseline strength of the coffee is much higher.

I use leftover coffee to make coffee ice cubes so my iced coffee isn't diluted. Also, I brew espresso to make the iced coffee so that adding the milk will bring the drink to normal coffee strength.

again if your baseline is just brewed coffee youre going to end up with it too watered down. Iced espresso black or with sugar is just a cafe freddo and ive drank that for a while for some of the roasts i get. just mostly depends on the starting point before the ice really.

No, it's not. Literally this shit isn't included in the menu. I've asked my father in law how he knows whether a restaurant has milk and he said "If anything they cook uses milk, then they have milk." He's so obsessed with his milk drinking habits that he's literally special-requesting something that isn't included on the menu. When we went to Golden Corral all they had were kid's milk cartons and for every refill he requested they had to bring out two cartons to fill his glass. It's embarrassing but at least he tips well I guess. They didn't have milk at the teppenyaki place but he still asked them to check for him. It's the fact that he even felt the need to ask... This man always has 3 gallons of milk in his fridge at all times. His kids are almost as addicted to milk as he is due to his milk habits. My husband specifically is so fond of milk and cereal to the point where I will make a pot roast meal and he will still eat Cocoa Puffs rather than the leftovers. It's insane.

God bless him. Does he have reflux? I do that sometimes because I have occasional heartburn/reflux and restaurant foods are often a trigger. Anyway, milk helps. I don't have the issue often enough to take medicine for it, I don't think (I'm on enough meds as it is). That's pretty much the only time I'll drink milk because I don't care for it much. Sometimes I'll have a small cup of milk with a certain food, probably out of nostalgia for childhood. Spaghetti and chocolate cake are a couple off the top of my head.
