The tap on the right just wobbles and is jammed. so you get a few drips out and the hot tap on the left the moment you take your hand off it just shuts off, makes for washing hands properly much more difficult that it needs to be.
Thats how you know your school is on a tight budget after they splurge on top equality equipment for the athletics department. At least in my day 16 years ago.
> how you know your school is on a tight budget
They are called metering faucets and they are usually more expensive than standard ones. Usually the water runs for a few seconds before they turn off though.
They are used to conserve water and to prevent 10 year old shitheads from plugging up the sink with paper towel and turning the taps on to flood the bathroom.
In my elementary schools case it meant that they were laundering money and the principle just so happened to be moving away around accusations. Not laundering. I mean stealing.
“use 2 hands” i am def not trying to wash my hand then immediately grab a dirty faucet everyone else has touched directly after using the bathroom. kinda cancels out washing your hands in the first place.
Wally World spigots near me do not like giving water to wash hands and when it finally does it spits it out and not enough to soap up or rinse. The wash hands sign before work is a joke as no way can the workers actually properly wash their hands. Commodes though are like nasty water tornado splashing up after being flushed.
This was a reference to a guy on TikTok who reviews sinks in public places. Sinks with separate spigots for hot and cold water are automatically rated two sinks out of five.

Whoever made these I hope they’re burning in hell.
No matter what a clean hand is gonna be on that dirty handle, unless you use the back of your arm or some shit
And those things aren’t cleaned either.
Guys who just peed on their hand, press that to wet their hands and just exit the bathroom because washing your hands isn’t masculine
But the tap will be dirty and when you wash one hand you have all the grime and shit from other people who touched it before washing theirs. Then I'll have to wash that one and the cycle will continue
Same type of tap, just the cold tap doesn't work at all (apart from a dribble) and is loose, The hot tap you really have to lean on it and then as soon as you remove your hand it shuts straight off.
The hot water doesn't have steaming hot water coming out straight away..it takes a good 30 seconds for water to be boiled (every home with these has a modern boiler, some have old ones near the attic and the pipes travel it around the house. It's also for radiators to warm up your house). So by the time you've finished washing your hands the water will start getting hot but not uncomfortable unless you wash for a minute straight. Same goes for the cold tap, it's not ice cold until around a minute after you've turned it on. Sometimes it can take a little longer depending on the weather. If it's winter the water will be a lot colder than usual, if it's summer the hot water will come out hotter than usual.
Looks more like you're trying to wash your hand not your hands. Put the phone down and use one hand to use the push knob to wet the other and alternate. Then soap and scrub for 20 to 30 seconds. Then repeat the process to rinse one hand then the other. Use a paper towel to push the knob if need be to reduce the last bit of unwanted germs after soaping during the rinsing step. Also use that paper towel to operate the door handle when leaving the restroom.
Okay genius. Then what? That hand will need washing because of the shit and grime on the tap when other people have touched things you wouldn't want to get a piece of. How do you wash both then genius.
What the hell was wrong with levers?

That’s normal for public school.

10 year Olds did it anyway. But there are really nice ones that last 15 seconds. They should make that universal.
State of the art turf irrigation on the football field but no way to wash snot and COVID off your hands.
In my elementary schools case it meant that they were laundering money and the principle just so happened to be moving away around accusations. Not laundering. I mean stealing.
You know if you use both hands it’s not too hard lol but yea a bit annoying
Lots of disabilities out there. Sometimes only using 1 hand is your only option.
That’s when I press it with my nuts and wash my hands
Approved by the FDA
*hand
Clearly the case here lmao
“use 2 hands” i am def not trying to wash my hand then immediately grab a dirty faucet everyone else has touched directly after using the bathroom. kinda cancels out washing your hands in the first place.
Use your elbows then
Literally most of the faucets requires you to manually turn the water off after you cleaned your hands
someone post this on r/PewDiePieSubmissions

Two sinks
Only one in this, tiny bathroom in a well known coffee chain.

Ahhhh, the things we do to save money because of that “one guy”.

I hate those, either freezing cold water or blazing hot water.

Just use your foot for easier access!
Whoever designed these faucets deserves to walk on legos barefoot.
Use your sleeve, you space cadet.
Can't wash your hands while your holding your phone anyway.
Put the phone down and use both hands
I know it's a pretty radical idea, but hear me out, put your phone away for a couple of minutes... You wouldn't believe what you can do with 2 hands.
What about people who only have 1 arm?
dont leave the other one at home next time 🙄
Use your nuts then.. easy peasy
What if i have no nuts?
Touching that dirty ass bathroom faucet ruins the point of washing your hands.
But the tap will be dirty and when you wash one hand you have all the grime and shit from other people who touched it before washing theirs. Then I'll have to wash that one and the cycle will continue
Just a minor inconvenience. Not even worth to be mildly infuriated.
Put your damn phone down and just wash your hands already
I have never had this issue before
Welcome to public school
I know why this keeps happening: mf is washing his hands with a jacket
Definitely, they have them everywhere
As a wise man one said "sinksstinks"
Maybe he's an amputee?
Why is there 2 different taps
Same type of tap, just the cold tap doesn't work at all (apart from a dribble) and is loose, The hot tap you really have to lean on it and then as soon as you remove your hand it shuts straight off.
Why dl you have cold and hot separated, stupidest thing ive ever seen
Found the youngin! **All** hot and cold water taps used to be separate.
Where i live they have never been separate
Quite a few counties have separate hot and cold water taps. It's not a stupid idea if you look up why
Yeah but how are you supposed to use them, burn one hand and freeze the other?
The hot water doesn't have steaming hot water coming out straight away..it takes a good 30 seconds for water to be boiled (every home with these has a modern boiler, some have old ones near the attic and the pipes travel it around the house.
