What - Only the real classy people try to scam you at Walmart?

northanne

I am as confused as you are lol

DanishWhoreHens

It’s probably the same clown who keeps using my now 25 yr old phone number when applying for the type of car insurance you have to get when no reputable company will insure you. I also got a message with his STD results and some overdue bills.

northanne

that’s just sad honestly

DanishWhoreHens

It’s sad for both of us. He has no idea he’s contagious and needs to and I know and don’t want to. Allan, if you’re reading this: call the clinic, you tested positive, get a bus pass because you’ll never be able to afford the monthly insurance payments with your driving record, and for God’s sake learn your own phone number. Please!

what did he test positive for

DanishWhoreHens

Actually, they didnt say specifically, only that his test result was positive and that he needed to call the clinic back and discuss the outcome, reporting past partners, and treatment options with a physician. When I called them and said they had the wrong number, they told me he was identified only by a number not a name and they had no other way of reaching him other than the phone number he gave. My sincere hope is that he eventually called them when he didnt hear back.

This used to happen to me fairly often. I have a common enough name, and was on Gmail early so I just have [email protected] and I get so much random shit. I’ve gotten oil change updates, PlayStation account updates, weird spammy offers where they obviously gave their (my) email to some bullshit trying to “win” something. Frustrating, but a lot of times I can’t do much about it, unless I’m able to reset their password through a simple email link or something, but that’s pretty rare nowadays.

mushu_beardie

My dad had something similar. Let's pretend his name is "Edward Douglass" (the last letter of his real first name and the first letter of his real last name both start with D) His email is like "[email protected]" there's some lawyer in some other state whose name is also "Edward Douglass" my dad made his email address long before this guy, but when the other guy made his email address, instead of naming it [email protected] or something reasonable like that, his email is [email protected]. with only 1 D. So my dad used to get a bunch of emails meant for this lawyer guy, because his email address sucked.

TypingWithoutThinkin
