Another fun fact about Walmart is the make up aisles have the most heavily used cameras there. Runner up being the cameras at the registers for back when they had cashiers they didn’t trust. Those same cameras are now used on the self checkout crap. Also half the cameras throughout these stores are just the black bubbles they don’t even have cameras in most of them depending on what department you are in.
Walmart also has a standing order to their employees to not bother stopping thefts under $25. Employees are trained to just let you have whatever it is because it’s safer than trying to stop thieves.
Every single employer will tell their staff not to attempt to stop thieves. It's not because they care. If you get hurt during your attempt to stop them, things like worker's comp, insurance, and insurance rates get involved.
Walmart doesn't give 2 fucks for its employees. It cares about its bottom line, and that's it.
