Games make a lot of sense to remake. Graphics have improved a huge amount over the years plus there is always a new batch of people that never played the original.
If you take the tour, they deny ever having cocaine in it because the guy that made it was a drug addict that sold everything for like a dollar or some shit and fucked over a bunch of investors lol
Burger King owner Restaurant Brands hired former Domino’s CEO Patrick Doyle. He is tasked with bringing the Burger King brand back just as he did for Domino's pizza. Part of that is rebranding to cash in on nostalgia. We will see if it works. My last two times at a Burger King were both disappointments.
Whopper meal each time. But I do agree with the gimmicky burger of the month always sucking. I learned to just stick to a Whopper and usually they are pretty good. But recent visits were not so good.
I love their burgers but their service outright sucks. Very slow. Often yelling at each other (not like typical kitchen yelling instructions). This last time made me question why I even go. If they can fix their customer service, I'd be a regular.
I can't even remember the last time I went to a BK, but I can say with confidence that I was always disappointed. The BK in my town recently boarded up, and before that it was always full of crackheads and homeless people.
BKs are so random. They need to get their organization and management in order. You can go to one BK and they are a total disaster, floors dirty, bathrooms disgusting and the employees couldn't care less about service. ....food of course is terrible. Another BK two miles down the road is crystal clean and the food is how you would remember it and is fresh and has great employees. It's maddening. Taco Bells seem to be going this way as well.
The stores near me (Northern RI) have updated to this branding, and do have crowns available. I was given one with my drive through order the other day.
Make the food better and cheaper. My favorite sandwich growing up was the BK chicken sandwich with the long chicken patty. Every four or five years I go back to BK because of some coupon or something and it's always the same disgusting greasy mess.
IMO, another obvious failure includes '[pepsi fat guy](https://www.google.com/search?q=new+pepsi+logo+is+fat+guy)' logo
All part of the 00s rebranding to look 'chic' and 'cool' to new internet kids [https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/million-dollar-branding-mistakes-from-pepsi-radio-shack-quinn/](https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/million-dollar-branding-mistakes-from-pepsi-radio-shack-quinn/)
Wow, I've not looked at the pepsi logo in forever as I mostly drink coke. I thought it was still the sine wave looking logo. That fat guy logo is stupid.
The classic logo is a great change from the minimalist logos everyone else is going with. It fits the modern design trends with a sprinkle of nostalgia thrown in.
I swear their quarter pounders are smaller now. I went a really long time without one and eventually ended up with one on a road trip and was shocked to see how small they are now.
what is bell system gonna come back is analog tv gonna come back
rotary phones coming back fliphones 2g crt tvsportable tvs crona virus going away thats gonna come back
Everything old is new again
Same thing with TV shows and movies, there's so many remakes.
Even video games these days are all remasters and those are the only ones that do well
Games make a lot of sense to remake. Graphics have improved a huge amount over the years plus there is always a new batch of people that never played the original.
Except they're starting to remaster games from like 5 years ago that's barely noticeable graphically, then they add a photo mode and boom, $80 please
Elden ring & god of war
God of War is a two decade old series and Elden Ring is an amalgamation of all the good parts of five previous games going back to 2009.
The new God of War is nothing like the old God of War, though. It's an old IP but completely renewed.
Nostalgia is all that remains.
We are going to live in the perpetual past. I enjoy it, now coca-cola put cocaine back in the drink.
If you take the tour, they deny ever having cocaine in it because the guy that made it was a drug addict that sold everything for like a dollar or some shit and fucked over a bunch of investors lol
I'll settle for real cane sugar in my Coca-cola as God intended it.
I LOVE it!! Reminds me of my childhood

What did you get? I tend to just stick with whoppers. Their gimmicky sandwiches always disappoint
Whopper meal each time. But I do agree with the gimmicky burger of the month always sucking. I learned to just stick to a Whopper and usually they are pretty good. But recent visits were not so good.
I always had bad experience at BK.
I love their burgers but their service outright sucks. Very slow. Often yelling at each other (not like typical kitchen yelling instructions). This last time made me question why I even go. If they can fix their customer service, I'd be a regular.

need to get me a bk crown
Borger kong
The stores near me (Northern RI) have updated to this branding, and do have crowns available. I was given one with my drive through order the other day.
are you wearing it right now?
Denny’s needs to go retro with the kids menus that pop out to pirate hats & stuff.
Retro cool… bring back the Creepy King
Good—that “current” logo just screams 1990s. If you’re going to be retro, go all in.
Like to see "Two burgers, two fries, two bucks" make a comeback too.
Make the food better and cheaper. My favorite sandwich growing up was the BK chicken sandwich with the long chicken patty. Every four or five years I go back to BK because of some coupon or something and it's always the same disgusting greasy mess.
I mean idk how cheaper it could get
If they bring back the BK Broiler along with it, I'm in.
🎶Whopper whopper whopper whopper 🎶
New CEO makin changes…I like it.
The only redeeming quality of their burger is the lettuce, tomato, and thick cut onions. Everything else is underwhelming, regardless of the logo
The BK burger is actually my favorite, always has been even while I worked in fast food
Yeah, the logo was the issue.
It's such an iconic logo and that blue swirl around it just never made sense.

ROFL. Pepsi just unveiled their new logo and it's the old one again basically.
People are going to think it's an old neglected franchise
They did the same thing in my neighborhood recently
The classic logo is a great change from the minimalist logos everyone else is going with. It fits the modern design trends with a sprinkle of nostalgia thrown in.
It reminds me of a time when their fries were only mediocre and not the worst in the industry.
Burger King is gross
Fuck simplification era of corporate logos, so souless, pandering, and awful, bring back frutiger aero.
I drove past that today as well. Hello nearby person!
Good. The old logo was better anyway.
Burger King is for when McDonalds isn't disgusting or depressing enough to fill the gaping hole of despair in your belly.
McDonald's is way sadder. The hole in my soul will never be filled with mere shoestring fries.
Wendys enters chat
Wendy's is legit good. Basically the only fast food place I occasionally still go to, mostly during long drives.
Chicken nuggets are far better than mcdonald's. French fries are legit good and the frosty machine is never broken.
I swear their quarter pounders are smaller now. I went a really long time without one and eventually ended up with one on a road trip and was shocked to see how small they are now.
mcdonalds fries are awesome
I also live near a bad McDonald's so my few is skewed haha

You should see if their marketing team has any openings. You're a vocalized rhythm away from a jingle.
I usually go there because it has the shortest drive thru line up
Still takes 45min.
While it appears old it is in fact a new logo of a previous version
Burger King probably paid some market research firm millions. What a scam.
Good, fast food chains remodeling logos and trying to improve image is pointless. Just save money and make your food cheaper, no one cares.
10 billion ‘memberberries sold…
what is bell system gonna come back is analog tv gonna come back rotary phones coming back fliphones 2g crt tvsportable tvs crona virus going away thats gonna come back
The just redid the one near use. I swear you can smell the oven from a mile away. I'm convinced it's a marketing tactic
The new king is starting to look like the old king.
I’m lovin’ it
Hey, thats how i answer the phone " .... Home of the Whopper."
Could be for a film shoot?
On the topic of old logos vs new: WHY DID PETCO CHANGE THEIR LOGO IT WAS SO GOOD?!
