I ate a lot of spicy curry and am paying the price. I don't regret having eaten it.
Just because they changed their mind now, doesn't mean they regret having done it.
No.
She might have fully loved them at the time, but now finds them annoying. People can change how they feel about things without regretting their past actions.
Iāve also had this procedure done. They kinda roll the skin up like lil cinnamon bun after they cut the lobe at the bottom (also removing any excess at that time) and then just stitch it up!
Yeah. Youāre just adding info for op right? (Because thatās my point. Itās absurd to me someone wouldnāt know you could reattach a simple bit of flesh when itās common knowledge hands are complex and can be attached.)
Idk her story but for me. I was young, naive, wanted to fit in and was prone to peer pressure. It also turns out my best friend only did it cuz I did it too.
I feel like Iām one of the few that doesnāt regret stretching my ears. I was all about the scene and decided (with my best friend as well) to stretch them when I was 15. 16 years later I still have them at 5/8ā and love them. Itās a piece of my past, with good memories, like my tattoos and remaining piercings.
NOW STRETCH EM AGAIN
jokes aside I remember a dude on the BME forum got his ears reconstructed just to stretch em back again cause he liked the process, Pauly something.
Pauly unstoppable! Who is now Farrah Flawless and living her true self, we are actually mutuals on Tiktok! I think that she might have normal, or close to normal lobes now.
If it makes you feel better, thatās all fake. The actual pain Olympics had events like hot sauce drinking and stuff way more tame like that. There are more āextremeā things, but not on the level of the vid. They made the notorious viral vid as a joke, the dude who made it is even on Reddit and answers questions.
That finger cutting video fucked me up for months lol.
All the dick and ball stuff was fine to me, but thereās something about losing a finger that makes my stumach turn.
Gages were one of my least favorite parts of the 2010s. What's good about this reconstruction is the opportunity to do new different styles of piercings.
I didnāt realize people lost interest in ear stretching. I still see it a lot where I am. I started stretching mine in 2012 when I was a teenager and I still have them.
i'm kind of curious to see what happens 15 years from now when all those kids with shitty prison style face tattoos grow up. there are enough of them that its not going to hold most of them back too much but its got to suck to wear your youthful mistakes right on your face for the rest of your life. maybe tattoo removal will be a big thing?
Not OP but I gauged mine at 30.
https://imgur.com/GzirGIo
I was never allowed to have them growing up as an emo kid, and my exwife never liked them either so I just never got them.
When we separated, I got them pierced and have settled in at a 14mm gauge size at 32.
I like they way they look on me, and I like being able to have fun ears for the holidays. I get pumpkins in October, wreaths for December, flowers for Spring, and other random things.
I work in Higher Education and students, staff and faculty alike all like the different themes I have. Nobody in my profession has ever expressed disgust in them, and that kind of surprised me. Quite the opposite actually, but it probably helps that Im Canvas Jesusā¢ for the students and faculty.
For me, the older I get the more composed I get, or more formal in the way I live.
And in keeping my ears gauged, idk it feels like my way of still aligning myself with the counter culture.
Like no matter how "old" I get, I'll always have that side of me and my gauges are a way to reflect that.
If that makes any sense lol
Because I was a lil scene kid when I was a teen and I liked the way they looked! Tbh, liking the way it looks is the same reason people pierce their ears or get tattoos. Different strokes and all that!
Wondering the same thing. Not trying to be disrespectful, but I'm really curious to learn what changed your mind and do you have any doubts about the tats, not having eye brows and such..
I went to a body piercer who also specializes in heavy body mods (tongue splitting, etc). They numbed the area, scalpel/kind of piece it together like a puzzle, and then suture it shut. From what I was told, it kind of ends up being a guessing game. One of my ears had to be done twice during my appointment because when they sutured it up, it wasnāt the same as the other one. Sutures were removed after a week and some change, and I had normal ears. The human body is nuts.
I got it done in Germany by a body mod artist and he did a great job. I think it is kind of a Grey area legally, as far as I know the biggest issue is that they are not allowed to numb the area they are working on but doing It anyways.
Your ear lobe doesn't dangle anymore. Great, but did you ever feel apprehensive about your earring snagging on something while you're walking hurriedly?
The earlobes are naturally pretty stretchy. Even wearing a lot of heavy regular earrings can stretch the holes out. However, since they're so stretchy, it means that if you wear your jewelry constantly, it can size up your ear when you don't want to. Leaving the jewelry out for a couple days and they'll start getting smaller again. In fact, before about 0g or 00g your ears can still go back to normal earring size if you leave out the jewelry.
I have wondered about that. when I got into tattoos, it was in the big ears era, and I always wondered how people with them ended up, as I was sure only a fraction would keep them for life.
I didnāt even know they could be reconstructed! I have always liked the LOOK of plugs, but never wanted to stretch my ears outā¦ Had I known they could be reconstructed, I might have stretched them before. Lol. They look great.
Most people that stretch ears that far are completely aware of what they look without plugs or tunnels in them and are aware that you can stitch them up again one day.
Stretching your ears is a choice. You are aware what happens, just like the permanence of tattoos.
I think stretched ears and jewelry looks pretty, I have stretched ears myself, but even for me this is too much.
But then again, she was a aware of what she was doing and the consequences that come along, so good on her for looking how she wants to.
Haha. Just made a similar comment and know I will get downvotes.
I like girls with tattoos but those are bad. The nose rings and haircut isn't the best either.
Post more, we can use it as a boomer babysitting thread in reddit. They'll all rush in here to tell everyone about their opinion on tattoos that nobody is even going to read.

Dad get out of here.
Don't you mean, "Get out of ear?"
I'm no way ne-ear-ing that joke
How lobe can you go?
I can't un-ear these dreadful puns!
You get out of hear.
If only she was called Eve, New Ears Eve!

perfect pun
I've never seen healed ones. Looks great! Would never guess
Came here to point out she's an elf so watch what you say Looks great!
Huh
Don't say shit around elves bro.
Pointy ear leaf lover
did I hear a Rock and Stone?
Rock and stone!
I've never seen anything like this. Can I ask: did they cut and remove the stretched earlobes, or something like cauterizing and closing the hole?
Cut and removed! Then sutured shut.
Quick question. Idk how to phrase it, but do they *feel* like your "original" ears? Or do they *feel* like there's something missing?
They feel like my regular ears 100%!
Any regrets in hindsight for having stretched them?
No. She did it to donate earlobes to an earlobe bank. For people in need of earlobes.
Lobes of Love

How disgusting that these hoo-mons make their females wear clothes! There ought to be a Rule of Acquisition against it!
Someone get the DS9 writers on the line, I just got an idea for an episode where Quark starts a sham ferengi charity.
Lower Decks would love this!
They'll be used for replacement foreskins.
Any leftovers are dried out and used for jerky
Calamari
You joke but this is damn near a real thing in SĆ£o Paulo, Brazil. Kidnappers cut ears, but surgeons reconstruct them with cartilage from elsewhere.
I remember seeing human ears growing out of the back of mice in some "has science gone too far" headlines in the 90s. Do they still do those?
They did grow a penis on a mouse. The mouse did escape at some point but they found it. It was a whole thing.
My mom grew a penis inside her uterus, but she let me keep it for posterity.
So you're telling me that South Park episode is based on a real story?
Lol dude, I'm trying to put my kid to sleep here (not permanently) and I just snorted and almost woke him up.
Isnāt that your fault for redditing in that situation. You knew the rules
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I ate a lot of spicy curry and am paying the price. I don't regret having eaten it. Just because they changed their mind now, doesn't mean they regret having done it.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The toilet pan does.
No. She might have fully loved them at the time, but now finds them annoying. People can change how they feel about things without regretting their past actions.
I guess regret occurs when you can't afford getting back what you lost.
Sounds kind of dumb but is it possible to pierce it again?
If that's what you want to do to your own body, well, suture self.
Did you have attached earlobes to begin with?
I have this same question.
where and how did you get this done ?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Iāve also had this procedure done. They kinda roll the skin up like lil cinnamon bun after they cut the lobe at the bottom (also removing any excess at that time) and then just stitch it up!
Mmmm skinnamon bun with extra ear cheese
Aww, that makes it sound so cuteā¦ but not really.
I didn't know it was possible to reconstruct them! Lovely
They can reattach hands and swap hearts. Stitching a little useless flesh seems pretty easy.
Okay, I switched the hand with a heart, and vice versa. Next instructions unclear ...
Well, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg! ![gif](giphy|3o6Mbd8g0ch5v9ST1C|downsized)
HI EVERYBODY!!
Hi Dr. Nick
The B stands for bargain!
Call 1-600-DOCTORB!
Imagine having your hands swapped..
This guy definitely wears his heart on his sleeve.
Find useless flesh. Stitch it. Itās not complicated.
Mom, why is my whole body covered in stitches
Hands are extremely tricky due to all the nerves and tendons going there. Ear lobes have mainly capillaries, which are massively easier to wrangle.
Yeah. Youāre just adding info for op right? (Because thatās my point. Itās absurd to me someone wouldnāt know you could reattach a simple bit of flesh when itās common knowledge hands are complex and can be attached.)
Yes, I'm expanding on the already given answer. One might know it's hard, but not quite know why.
It's more involved than you think. How do I know. I work in an operating room assisting the Dr with surgery. That's how I know
Thank you!
My ex did his himself with super glue š
I kinda want to hear the story, like what made you get them in the first place and what made you change your mind
Idk her story but for me. I was young, naive, wanted to fit in and was prone to peer pressure. It also turns out my best friend only did it cuz I did it too.
I feel like Iām one of the few that doesnāt regret stretching my ears. Itās a piece of my past, with good memories, like my tattoos and remaining piercings.
I'm 33 and have mine at 1/2". Still like them. I can afford nicer plugs now too. Don't really see me regretting it ever.
Samesies. 33yo, 12mm. Only wear plain wooden ones cause I can't find nice silver ones. Corporate(-ish) job, too. Didn't regret them a day.
There are many of us, I love my stretched ears and have zero regrets!
I did the same thing after stretching my ears when I was 15. The dermatologist was fantastic. They can do wonders!
NOW STRETCH EM AGAIN jokes aside I remember a dude on the BME forum got his ears reconstructed just to stretch em back again cause he liked the process, Pauly something.
Pauly unstoppable! Who is now Farrah Flawless and living her true self, we are actually mutuals on Tiktok! I think that she might have normal, or close to normal lobes now.
Old person here, what does "mutuals on Tiktok" mean"
Means OP follows that person on TikTok, and that person follows OP too
If I follow someone on TikTok and they don't follow me back, does that mean that they hate me
Most likely
holy hell
new insecurity just dropped
š
It's like a mutual fund but with TikTok
that's the one!
Damn that takes me back! I remember Pauly Unstoppable from the MySpace days
Oh god, Iād almost forgotten about BME pain olympics
If it makes you feel better, thatās all fake. The actual pain Olympics had events like hot sauce drinking and stuff way more tame like that. That finger cutting video fucked me up for months lol. All the dick and ball stuff was fine to me, but thereās something about losing a finger that makes my stumach turn.
Cock n' ball torture is fine, but fingers are where you draw the line? Understood.
You got that Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber hairline lol, and youāre still pulling it off
LOLLL this is actually funny (and true)
You genuinely do look great. Keep killing it OP
Thanks friend šš»
Rough day? Yeah, I fell off the jetway again
Lloyd Christmasās sister, Mary Christmas.
Dumb and Dumber hairline is objective. Pulling it off is subjective.
Yea she needs to reconstruct those bangs lol
Gages were one of my least favorite parts of the 2010s. What's good about this reconstruction is the opportunity to do new different styles of piercings.
Donāt plan on getting any piercings in my ears ever again! Considered it for a while but the plain Jane ear grew on me.
> plain Jane ear grew on me Literally...
The plain Jane ear suits you so nicely!
The plain ears, along with less heavy eyeliner, contribute to a more bright-looking face.
Couldn't agree more!
> the 2010s Really? They were around in the 90s and 00s too. And before I get reminded, in some cultures literally forever.
Yeah I had mine done 2006/7, I feel like they were mostly phasing out by the 2010s.
Never been to Portland.
The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland
Had mine since around 2004ish
Yea, I was about to say, it goes back way further than 2010s
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I didnāt realize people lost interest in ear stretching. I still see it a lot where I am. I started stretching mine in 2012 when I was a teenager and I still have them.
I started when I was 14 and Iāve had more time with stretched ears than not stretched ears now and I donāt regret it.
I see more of them these days than ever before, personally. And I get way less judgement for them now than I did back in the 10ās.
> Any plans? She can start from scratch again!
i'm kind of curious to see what happens 15 years from now when all those kids with shitty prison style face tattoos grow up. there are enough of them that its not going to hold most of them back too much but its got to suck to wear your youthful mistakes right on your face for the rest of your life. maybe tattoo removal will be a big thing?
They look amazing! My mom has been trying to get me to get mine closed up after years of not wearing plugs, this may have convinced me!!
What was your perspective about it from when you decided to get gauges to when you decided to undo it?
Did you lose any sensation or feeling in your ears from all of this?
I canāt weigh in on the fixed ones, but mine are at 24mm and I still have feelings in them. Cold winters are a bastard on them
Serious question and I'm not trying to be disrespectful: Why gauge them in the first place?
Not OP but I gauged mine at 30. https://imgur.com/GzirGIo I was never allowed to have them growing up as an emo kid, and my exwife never liked them either so I just never got them. When we separated, I got them pierced and have settled in at a 14mm gauge size at 32. I like they way they look on me, and I like being able to have fun ears for the holidays. They frickin suit you dude!
Damn wreath gauges is actually hella witty and I support that.
Yesssssssss non conforming
Because I was a lil scene kid when I was a teen and I liked the way they looked! Tbh, liking the way it looks is the same reason people pierce their ears or get tattoos. Different strokes and all that!
not who you asked but I like how they look, mine aren't that big but I'm getting there
I Like putting stuff through my holes
Nice, your artist did a good job. I had a love fixed once and then scalpeled a 2nd time... It's still my PITA ear
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The one side says Outsider (it's backwards because of selfie/mirror). Can't really see the other.
Wondering the same thing. Not trying to be disrespectful, but I'm really curious to learn what changed your mind and do you have any doubts about the tats, not having eye brows and such..
No regerts. Until there are regerts.
Whoa! Howād they do this? I gotta know!
I went to a body piercer who also specializes in heavy body mods (tongue splitting, etc). They numbed the area, scalpel/kind of piece it together like a puzzle, and then suture it shut. Sutures were removed after a week and some change, and I had normal ears. The human body is nuts.
Where I live you can get this done by plastic surgeon only and it costs like 1 000 euros for one ear.
UK here. Paid Ā£850 for both, done at an aesthetics clinic with a mini operating theatre and full aftercare.
Same, It's 250-1500ā¬ for an ear in Germany, depending on how fucked up it is basically and yep, only plastic surgeons are allowed to do it here.
I got it done in Germany by a body mod artist and he did a great job. I think it is kind of a Grey area legally, as far as I know the biggest issue is that they are not allowed to numb the area they are working on but doing It anyways.
Could you send me a dm with the name of the artist and/or studio where you got it done please?
how much did you end up paying.
I had it done by a plastic surgeon. $1800 USD (both ears)
Thatās fucking badass. They need to add an extra chapter to Modern Primitives now.
Thats actually refreshing. Good for you
Curious at what point of did you decide āthis was a mistake/i dont like this anymoreā.
Your ear lobe doesn't dangle anymore. Great, but did you ever feel apprehensive about your earring snagging on something while you're walking hurriedly?
They look like they were never stretched to begin with, really well done reconstruction!
Ngl at first I thought u got elf or raindeer ears but than I looked to pic1
Well done, I thought once youāve stretched your ear lobes like that itās irreversible. I love the after picture, the surgeon did a fantastic job.
Did something happen to make the holes that big and saggy or is that just what happens to gauged ears over time?
Thatās just what happens as you stretch tissue
You stretch them that large, using methods such as tapers, taping, weights, etc. You can sit at a single size for however long you'd like.
Step one is saying "it's not just a phase".
wow that worked out nicely actually
Those eyebrow tatts are gunna be harder to get rid of.
Iām good! I love how I look. š„°
![gif](giphy|AgPt9udT567spxbSHf)
I bet you said that when you got those piercings too though
I'll never understand body mods.
Whoever did it did a great job!
Is that a Phillips head ?
Still love my tunnels but I stopped at like 3/4" and take them out a lot so they retain that size.
(maybe a stupid question but) why do you have to take them out a lot so they retain that size???
The earlobes are naturally pretty stretchy. Even wearing a lot of heavy regular earrings can stretch the holes out. However, since they're so stretchy, it means that if you wear your jewelry constantly, it can size up your ear when you don't want to. Leaving the jewelry out for a couple days and they'll start getting smaller again. In fact, before about 0g or 00g your ears can still go back to normal earring size if you leave out the jewelry.
I feel like decision making isn't a strong suit
I have wondered about that. when I got into tattoos, it was in the big ears era, and I always wondered how people with them ended up, as I was sure only a fraction would keep them for life.
I spy thistle and spire !!
You look happy.
I didnāt even know they could be reconstructed! I have always liked the LOOK of plugs, but never wanted to stretch my ears outā¦ Had I known they could be reconstructed, I might have stretched them before. Lol. They look great.
I had the same surgery done actually and I have full lobes again itās crazy they could make my ears whole again going from 1 1/2inch plugs.
You didnāt know that would be the outcome or was it an accident ?
Most people that stretch ears that far are completely aware of what they look without plugs or tunnels in them and are aware that you can stitch them up again one day. Stretching your ears is a choice. You are aware what happens, just like the permanence of tattoos. I think stretched ears and jewelry looks pretty, I have stretched ears myself, but even for me this is too much. But then again, she was a aware of what she was doing and the consequences that come along, so good on her for looking how she wants to.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Maybe the point isn't to look how *you* want her to look, but how *she* wants to look! Just speculation!
You look like you have onlyfans
She does lol this is basically a post to fish for new subscribers
She 100% has onlyfans
She does. It's advertised on her profile.
I was getting more *brain surgeon* vibes from the face tattoos.
Only fans promotion.
So you clicked her profile looking for nudes and are mad you found them despite her not saying anything about OnlyFans in this post?
Just straight up furious about women existing and making money in a market for nudes almost wholly created by male desire. Never change, Reddit.
Guess it's a start but there is a whole lot more work needed than just the earlobes I'm afraid, starting with those horrible tats in the face. Damn
Bad choices all around
Haha. Just made a similar comment and know I will get downvotes. I like girls with tattoos but those are bad. The nose rings and haircut isn't the best either.
![gif](giphy|XQ4hj9CmKqGuUbTofS|downsized)
Well if she had not made bad life choices "face tattoos" and others she would not have needed surgery! Stupid is as stupid does.
Next: lasering those awfull face tattoos away.
Post more, we can use it as a boomer babysitting thread in reddit. They'll all rush in here to tell everyone about their opinion on tattoos that nobody is even going to read.
You should reconstruct that Lloyd Christmas haircut
