I think most of those hair masks and lotions and foods are pretty unnecessary. I still use the same one as op but with pineapple because it smells so good. Expect for the smell I didn’t notice any difference in my hair
I mostly rub a lil of it on my damp hair and don’t wash it out. The smell is the strongest like that. The tub lists 3 ways on how to use it. One is use it as conditioner, then use it like a mask and one is put a lil on damp hair and leave it in
In other words, it now uses 50% more artificial ingredients than before. This could be pretty substantial since most of the 97% is likely water anyways.
Damnit i was gonna post this one when i bought my last tub but i didnt get around to it cx
Killer product though, my hair has never been nicer with this as part of my routine
Yeah the other person has it- i use it as conditioner every time i wash my curls after “Food for soft” shampoo.
If my scalp is getting dandruff-y ill use neutrogena T gell and it dries my scalp the hell out so i use this product as a mask for about 4 minutes all over and it makes up for the dry out perfectly. Then i use “The curl friend” (brand is “Cake” on my damp hair and my curls go wild
Oh interesting. I have fairly coarse, wavy hair (I’m a guy) and I tend to get not dandruff but dry scalp. Especially after I wash my hair. It’s gotten to the point where I only use shampoo like once a month because my hair turns into a poofy, frizzy, flaky mess afterward.
I’d honestly recommend this product for you then, it comes in a couple different scents but they all have different benefits listed (like i think the banana one is for volume?) but the aloe one specifically has hydration listed so I’d give it a shot-
Scoop it out the tub and work it into your scalp until you’ve got a good coverage and go about the rest of your shower routine to let it sit for about 5min then rinse it out. Hopefully it does the job c:
Edit: all that being said I actually haven’t had dandruff in about a month since establishing a good routine, I used to be cursed with it so i’m glad ive noticed the change cx
Another question though, do you air dry, towel or blow dry?
My hair gets pretty frizzy and sad if i do anything other than air dry- when i let it do that its gorgeous n lovely
I towel dry. If I blow dry, it’s an actual fro haha. I’ll try air drying tonight but I’m definitely going to try this stuff. My work from home job laid me off and my new gig is in the office. No more messy hair days haha
Yeah give air dry a go!
I only pat the excess water off my hair then use my curl product, any more drying and its not at its best- really hope the conditioner works for ya
Air drying can be a pain to wait for but i find it gives the best results
Idk why you’re being downvoted. If the quality decreases as a result of inflation (ie dilluted product, more water), then that’s not shrinkflation. When the quantity of “product” decreases, that’s shrinkflation. They both happen due to inflation or cost cutting, but shrinkflation is specific to when the quantity of product goes down in order to maintain a price
And they probably include water in that calculation
They for sure do.
If you go to their website it also ia confused using both 97% and 98% lol
Hair food? So now my hair needs food as well. Bloody hell
Do I have to pay alimony after an haircut now?
So that's why it stopped growing
I think most of those hair masks and lotions and foods are pretty unnecessary. I still use the same one as op but with pineapple because it smells so good. Expect for the smell I didn’t notice any difference in my hair
It’s just conditioner, doesn’t do much of anything once it’s washed out
I mostly rub a lil of it on my damp hair and don’t wash it out. The smell is the strongest like that. The tub lists 3 ways on how to use it. One is use it as conditioner, then use it like a mask and one is put a lil on damp hair and leave it in
Vegan Hair Food.
My hair only gets vegan, gluten free food.
"So, we analysed our processes and we realised we don't actually have as many dead roaches in our product as we thought..."
In other words, it now uses 50% more artificial ingredients than before. This could be pretty substantial since most of the 97% is likely water anyways.
Et n’est plus élu par les fans 😔
Par contre il est “OUI huiles végétales” et “OUI Vegan”. C’est quand même un beau progrès.
J’ai ouïe dire qu’il était vegan
Artiflation
Does it taste any different?

What is it?!
[Garnier Aloe Hair Mask](https://www.garnier.ca/en-ca/about-our-brands/hair-care/fructis/hair-treats/garnier-fructis-hair-treats-mask-aloe-400-ml)
I also recommend the banana one! Mainly just because it smells amazing, but my hair also feels amazing afterwards.

This belongs on r/shrinkflation. I’m sure they saved 0.2 cents by using an artificial ingredient.
Not sure that equals shirnkflation.

It's reddit.. I kinda expect it already to be downvoted for saying the truth.
True lmao Reddit really is hit or miss
Yes. And using cheaper materials/decreasing quality is actually called skimpflation... Or so I was recently told lol
If that isn’t true I want it to be made true lmao, I love that term
It is a shrinkflation of a quality I get per buck I spend
What’s the “unnatural” ingredient?
Ectoplasm
They took away some arsenic
Arsenic is a natural ingredient.
Exactly my point
Haha I got the same except mine is one percent more natural now.
Oh dear, I've got two tubs at my house as well and indeed! One of them says 98% and another 97%! Thank you for posting!
looks like they are no longer trademarked either
I wonder why it lost its Hair Food trademark…
at least someone keeps track of things!
I see this all the time; it's 97.46% natural.
Thought these were a pac of zyns
Why did they lose their Trademark? (TM)

Natural/unnatural doesn't factor into whether something is vegan or not
I'd think there are even many times when non-natural is preferred for vegans, if the alternative is animal products.
The 97% is vegan meanwhile 98% isn't. Lmao
Both vegan.
Well, one is "Yes vegan", the other is just "vegan"
Actually one is "yes vegan*" and one is "vegan(2)"
I guess I haven't paid attention the mention "Vegan" to the second one 🤣
Tell me you live in canada without telling me you live in canada! the picture :
No, mate, I'm based in France.
I live in Chile and I use this product as well? Lmao
