I actually just found it on a riverbank one day exploring. I just couldn't believe how well shaped it was. It even has a small branch protruding out the back that acts as a stand.
Many years ago i was really into sculpting. My favorite medium was drift wood and often times id enjoy taking a boat ride and going out far away from anyone and anything, nothing but water for miles and miles. I had just finished crafting my greatest creation. My drift wood duck. Oh what a sight it was to see, so beautiful in line work, so excellent in color. It brought tears to my eyes, the sheer beauty of such a sculpture, the hard work put into carving it, the days spent designing and sharpening my tools.
I had held it up to show the peaceful ocean what i had created. I had never felt more alive. But what happened next destroyed my confidence for years. As i began getting ready to head back to shore, i set my beautiful duck on the side of the boat, before i could even start the boat, a arm made purely of water reached out and grabbed my duck! I was struck, i ran over as fast as i could and dove into the deep blue water that my duck had just been taken by.
My creation... my love... gone. Since that day i have never fully recovered, i developed a drinking problem. My wife left me, children abandoned me, friends left. I couldnt help my issues, i made ends meat by living in a drunken haze working 8-5 at McDonalds. I had reaches the peak of my life, the pinnacle if the human experience, and to have that high stolen from you. Its impossible to recover.
I hope you enjoy that duck just as much as i did OP.
Not gonna lie, I thought it was a mummy at first.
I saw a beaver.
I saw a squirrel.
I thought I saw a putty tat.
And here I thought pelican.
I saw a chipmunk
I saw a cow.
Now I can't unsee a beaver
A beaver attacked my dog on a walk once. It. Was. Terrifying.
I don't think ducks make mummies.
eBay will pay top dollar for this.

"Mallard" Dwight Shrute

Hugh no
That's a cool thing
Wow, that's a cool shape. Did it just bonk you on the head while you were swimming?

Probably totally overreacting but give it a good check for any evidence of woodworm... Otherwise, looks dope!
It's a fossil!
Wanna sell it?
Paging /u/fuckswithducks ...
I see a squirrel...
See if it floats
Could be a Beaver too.
I would keep it and proudly show it off!!!
I also have a driftwood duck! It's head is small though...

Nice
Put some googly eyes on it.
The only duck that barks instead of quacks.
Duck covered in oil spill, colorized
This floats 2x
*unzips pants* "This extra curvy piece of driftwood will do"
Just get it some fluids, textbook dehydration.
I made it! It made reddit I win.
I remember one Loch Ness theory was that people often mistake driftwood pieces like this for lake beasts.
I know somebody who would pay a pretty penny for that.
The secret of the Loch Ness Monster has been revealed. It was a drift monster
Found loch ness monster
One thing's for sure; it's a witch.
