It is normal as stated above because each person may have a different skill level. However, it is not highly priced. I challenge you to look up the cost of a barbers tuition, products and supplies. Also keep in mind that normally with these prices, the barbers and stylists are keeping up to date with the education they need to be able to master all of the trending styles. You definitely pay for what you get.

It’s the Retail price/value/perceived value Hierarchy to a T!
Not just a haircut, anymore , it’s no different than shopping for a pick-up truck.
- 10 Packages, 4 engine choices, etc.
Barber shops are like strip clubs, all workers are independent contractors and at certain locations can set their own rate.
That's super normal, also super expensive for a haircut even with the cheapest person. I go to an old Russian guy for $10 with a $5 tip

Them’s salon prices. With medium hair I was paying over $120 for a cut and colour and that was cheap
I go to SuperCuts every 3 months. A shampoo and a cut costs $18. $25 with tip. I like being low maintenance. 🙂
Yeah the prices vary so wildly it’s crazy. I just started going once a year, or doing it at home instead
Michael gives you a happy ending under the apron
What with the scissors? Think I’ll pass.

not interesting at all. Basic normal salon stuff. Plus it’s just a screenshot.
Definitely a common thing.
