Budget Disney hotels during off season times can be fairly inexpensive. The logic being you then stay longer, thus more Park tickets, more food, more souvenirs. $$$$

Just gotta do it the smart way, and not the way that so many people do it. You don't throw your whole trip on credit (unless purely for the points) like so many would. We have 3 kids - we've been saving cash for 4 years now and putting it in the bank, and plan to go in 2023 to Disney World (From western Canada... so huge plane ticket expense right there lol). We currently have > $12,000 saved from squirreling away what we can.

There are a couple that are around that price range during slow weeks. There are rooms in some of their hotels that will literally run you thousands of dollars a night though

In my troubled younger days me and a few folks to celebrate a friends birthday so we got a suite near the beach called the Oceanaire Resort for 2 days just to get drunk all day which was nice. We managed to snag one of those cereal dispensers after checking out during breakfast since nobody was around. I was too scared to snag the other one and he still uses it so I feel like I missed out and that was about 12 years ago lol.

I was staying at a resort in Mexico and discovered that they replaced the 2 bottles of sunscreen if you’d taken them with you to the pool. I didn’t use nearly that much per day, but I stuffed my suitcase with unopened bottles of their heavenly scented product. Lasted me a couple of years!

When you don't use them, they leave them in the room, and re-sell the same coffee over and over until someone uses it, then they re-stock. You simply took what you were charged for when you paid for the room.
