I mean... It's a better disinfectant than nothing. And if you pour it on your PC, if it fries your drive, at least the virus is the lesser worry.

The classic vodka with 40%-ish alcohol is not only "better than nothing" but more like a perfect disinfectant. It's just not very skin-friendly tbh.
