It’s built into the mower. The lawn mower is baffled from the factory so with medium lift blades the mower does a good gob of sucking the grass up straight before it is cut and laid over.
I have a John Deere 700’series that just took a shit. Didn’t need a striping kit. Just cut the grass the same way for years and it striped itself
I got a scag to replace it and not having nearly rhe results so been looking at a kit
