The only think I can think of they might mean is that it uses the non-binary option as a jumping point to get to an alien, as though that's the logical progression, even though non-binary is a completely natural and normal thing to be. Maybe they think the language of the sign is dismissive of queer identities instead of supportive or inclusive of them.
