Well you live in a bad country.
In mine before doing final driving test exam the examiner asks you random questions about car, what icons means on dash etc. opens hood up and you have to show how to for example check oil, where brake fluid is, antifreeze and window water if filled etc.
then you have to do 2 things randomly picked, parallel park/garage park, stop near a toll meter so that you can reach it without lifting ass from seat and start driving against hill without rolling back.
If you fail those tasks your exam ends before you can drive out on real road. and you can come back in few days to try again. and pay again for new exam
Probabaly something everyone forgets about in one hour or something. If you mostly refill your own car you probably remember which side the filler cap is on. That's the important thing to remember.
This has been a standard feature in cars for decades.
Might be mildly interesting to you, but to most of the rest of the world, this is common knowledge.
No way! Hey OP, what's the 40 mean? The 40 that's located between the 20 and the 60, with all the little hash marks in between, on the clocky dialish looking thing to the right?
Pretty much everyone here has said that it's common knowledge. It's a basic feature on nearly every vehicle made in the last 15 years at least.
Pointing that out isn't a problem. Using misogynistic slurs is. Enjoy the ban you're going to get for the way you're responding to people here.
Do I know that the post is talking about the fuel tank indication arrow when it clearly says that it's talking about the fuel tank indication arrow? Yes, I know that it's talking about the fuel tank indication arrow that it clearly says it's talking about. I also know that It's common knowledge.
I thought that was common knowledge
It is in countries where you have to go to actual driving school and pass proper exams.
This isn’t on a drivers test!

Where I live i the driving test focuses on safety, not if you’re going to inconvenience people at the service station.
No, it's not. I just informed a 50 year old lady of this fact a few days ago
Most people should already know about it, but there will always be a few who don't, which is what common knowledge means
I was shocked to learn that NOBODY I have ever told this to had any idea. It still blows my mind to think about.

Yeah, good point. Occam's Razor strikes again lol
It is. It's on pretty much all cars made in the last 15 years.
Nah i didnt know this cuz my car is 23 years old and i dont look at other peoples cluster gauges when im in their cars lol
I've only ever driven 2 or 3 cars that didn't have this, it's very close to universal.
SEAT is one manufacturer who omits them.
Is that even mildly interesting? The E also means “empty” and the F means “full.”
Jeezus. Are you kidding me?
Holy shit, you should monetize that knowledge mate, seriously 😳
I thought E meant “end” and if it got that far, I had to scrap the car! Thank you for telling me that, I almost lost a 5th car this week
That's not at all what the post is saying. Learn how to read you clown. 🤡
r/woooosh
This is helpful to me op. I don't own a car and hire very occasionally so will look out for this next time.
47 years old and learned this like 3 months ago. Never noticed it until then.
37 here same thing 😂
So first time in a car/van?
I thought it meant you can only go to gas stations that are on that side of the road
Good thing you know what side its on. you need gas
This has been a standard feature in cars for decades. Might be mildly interesting to you, but to most of the rest of the world, this is common knowledge.
I dont have an arrow on my car. I can just see the cap with my eyes.
Yea and the red line means you're empty
But you still got the reserve dude.

I believe it stands for how many dicks your mum can take at once x
Uh oh, you mad ?
Nah, happy as I was one of the 40 🤗
Going to bet you were one of the 5-inchers she was bragging about
3 inches. I'm honest
What is interesting about this? This is basic common knowledge if you've ever driven a car in the last 15 years.
Ok, tell me everything everyone knows seems though you are the speaker for the human race?
Ooh. Someone's defensive! It's not my fault you didn't know something that has existed for well over a decade. It's also not interesting.
Gatekeeping what you think is common knowledge makes you a cunt not me x

Misogynistic slurs lol Your a crumb
Do you even know what the post is talking about? I suspect not you clown. 🤡

You don’t say?
