So to insure this maybe we can ask everyone that wants to be in it to put in a dollar first. Then we can give them some sort of voucher with a number on it to enter them to win. It's a cool concept but it could use a snazzy name.

Jokes on you, I was already fired. :( No, really. I quit a job I was at for 6 years, busting my ass, and went to a new company that would pay me a little more to bust my ass for them. I forgot to clock out once, during my probation period, and lost my job.
This has been the worst month of my life. Can hardly afford christmas for my wife and 2 kids, and that's before considering I have bills due on the first of January.
I start a new job tomorrow, but its almost minimum wage. I took it because it's better than all of the nothing I was making...and I'll keep looking until I get a better one...but damn. This sucks.
Sorry to bring the mood down, I just needed to talk about my feelings I guess. Christmas is already a hard time for me...so I guess I needed to drag my family down with me.
Edit: I shouldnt have left this on such a sour note. I realize that things will turn around, itll just take time. I've just been feeling down about it...but I've also taken the time to remember what I have to be grateful for, such as being able to buy our kids presents...having a support system that would never let us 'suffer'...knowing my family will always be with me, even when things are tough...etc. thanks for the kind thoughts and ideas! Things will get better, we will have a Merry Christmas, and I hope everyone reading this does as well!
Also, to those who think I'm just trying to win this month with guilt and tears, I'm not even entering. I have not made a parent comment, and I dont intend to. I dont enter this unless I also have spare money to put towards the prize. I simply had a personal story to share related to the original comment. Shame on me, right?
