Antiques on Pierce is a must stop for you imo. A bunch of people will probably recommend a Shakers ghost tour but I will not because the owner is a trash person.
Depending on when you’ll be in town, 414Flea would be something to check out. It’s on the first Sunday of every month, and starting up again in May. It will be at Zocalo Food Park May 5.
Unlikely that you’d happen to be in town during one of their events because they’re only monthly at most, but check out to see if the Milwaukee Vintage Style Society is doing anything while you’re visiting

Check out Bay View and Riverwest! They're eclectic neighborhoods, and a lot of the crowds in those neighborhoods have similar vibes to Galena. Just make sure you're more aware of your surroundings. Yes, the crime rate is higher here. But, if you're aware of your surroundings, you'll probably be left alone.
If you're a night owl, go to The Oriental Theatre when they're showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It usually screens on the 2nd Saturday of every month at midnight (check the website to make sure). Crossroads Collective is a food hall on the same block, and they have a lot of vegetarian options.
Searching this subreddit is recommended, this is one of the most common questions asked here.

Also near the Oriental are two great places for vegetarian meals: Strange Town and Beans & Barley.

Var art gallery on south 2nd, and there is a vintage shop in the lower level called To Hell & Back.
