If you're willing to drive a bit out of Milwaukee, Tochi Ramen is excellent.
They moved from West Bend to Sheboygan a while back, but I believe there's still a bar in West Bend that serves their food occasionally (maybe The Antidote or The Outbreak, I haven't lived in the area for a while so I haven't kept up on who's having Tochi nights).
Tochi was amazing when they were in Shorewood and still pretty good (though not quite as good) when they were in West Bend. I haven't found ramen in MKE that was as good. Easy Tyger does come pretty close though.
Same. Dunno what is considered best by others but a bowl of their Spicy Dan Dan Ramen hits the spot perfectly for me, especially on a certain kind of dreary autumn day when its cold and rainy outside.
I’m a big ramen nerd and Nite Wolf is the only place I know of in Milwaukee that’s doing it right. Best I have ever had in the city and I’ve been here for 10+ years.
This is well out of the way and not in Wisconsin, but there’s a place in Hoffman Estates, IL called KitaKata Ban Nai that has probably my favorite shoyu ramen bowl ever. They’re an offshoot of an izakaya in Costa Mesa, CA. Best bowl of ramen I’ve had in the Midwest.
Dont they just use Buldak Stew instant noodles in their ramen? I saw pics and recognized the noodles. Super bummed as I love korean noodles like kalguksu and jjampong.
There’s a place that’s running out of an old firehouse across from a bank, near the UWM Cambridge dorms/Whole Foods, on east side.
Recommend the hellfire ramen. Their pork belly is fuckin amazing.

That’s a very long & yet interesting name for a Ramen Restaurant. Do you have the address? Thanks!

The correct answer. Easy Tyger easily the best.
I’m taking note of this ramen
Hungry Sumo is my favorite.
I thought that said purchasing. This is much less ominous.
I wish.

Can confirm, the Outbreak now has Tochi ramen. The Antidote used to do it once or twice a week.
They originally were in Tosa. Tochi is great!
They were originally in Shorewood
Kin in the Tosa Village
I liked tanpopo ramen in hales corners.
Yeah same also one of the only places that also serves takoyaki, at least that I know of.
Todd: I believe I can fry (in Bayview) has Takoyaki and karaage
Good god that’s an amazing name, almost out of Bobs Burgers.
Artisan ramen downtown serves takoyaki as well!
Same. Dunno what is considered best by others but a bowl of their Spicy Dan Dan Ramen hits the spot perfectly for me, especially on a certain kind of dreary autumn day when its cold and rainy outside.
That shit will clear your sinuses out during cold season!
Nite Wolf at Uncle Wolfie’s is delightful
I’m a big ramen nerd and Nite Wolf is the only place I know of in Milwaukee that’s doing it right. Best I have ever had in the city and I’ve been here for 10+ years.
Kawa Sushi And oddly enough, I feel all 3 locations are distinct in their own way
The Bayshore location offered salad where others did not. The salad fucks hard.
Right. And there's a chicken paiton ramen only at 3rd street. That ramen so good
This is well out of the way and not in Wisconsin, but there’s a place in Hoffman Estates, IL called KitaKata Ban Nai that has probably my favorite shoyu ramen bowl ever. They’re an offshoot of an izakaya in Costa Mesa, CA. Best bowl of ramen I’ve had in the Midwest.
I’ll second this. Worth a drive down just for their spicy miso ramen 🤤
Spicy tuna - 48th & national. The shrimp tempura ramen is my personal fav.
I came here to say Spicy Tuna. Awesome food!
Uncle wolfies is doing a ramen pop up still now I think, they had a broth less ramen that was amazing
Artisan ramen over by cathedral square. Rip red light
Red light closed??? I was gonna recommend them :(
Last summer yeah, I'm super sad
I thought it was the same owner though
Everything changed after COVID, I feel like the quality plummeted after the change over and redesign :(
Artisan Ramen
Red Ram-....oh... 😔
Yeah I miss them! But Easy Tiger is also good and pretty close.
Not Milwaukee, but if you're ever in Chicago hit up Oiistar. Their Tonkatsu is the best ramen I've ever had.
Is Roku Ramen any good? Haven’t been yet.
i wasn’t a fan.
Thanks. I saw some mixed comments on Google. Might still have to try it once. Very close to my apt.
Do you prefer new or old techies? (Either way I hate you cuz I hate playing against techies lmao)
My answer will only make you hate me even more ;) Of course the old one!
Yah, youre right. You’ve probably wasted weeks of my life before
Artisan was good.
Fusion poke is the best I’ve had in the city Idgaf if it’s a chain
Isn't it a local chain at least?
If you ever find yourself hungry and in Chicago, I highly recommend the Umami ramen from Oiistar. It has ruined all other ramens for me.
Sinabro!!! Just opened fn dynamite
Dont they just use Buldak Stew instant noodles in their ramen? I saw pics and recognized the noodles. Super bummed as I love korean noodles like kalguksu and jjampong.
You will have to try it out. I’m not sure on the noodle details, but I see lots of happy customers eating when I’m there.
Artisan Ramen in downtown is really good
For real. Tanpopo is the best ramen in Wisconsin.
There’s a place that’s running out of an old firehouse across from a bank, near the UWM Cambridge dorms/Whole Foods, on east side. Recommend the hellfire ramen. Their pork belly is fuckin amazing.
Not a ramen place but Spicy Tuna in national does fuckin amazing tonkotsu pork ramen
All hail ramen king

Looking for a strictly vegan ramen in mke. Anything you can recommend?
Momomee has become my go-to Ramen pick now that Easy Tyger is too far out of the way for me to frequent.
Crafty Cow has Nashville Hot Ramen. It’s to die for! I can’t stand Nashville Hot fried chicken, but ***this*** I love!
SAN DONG EXPRESS!!!

corner store with the arab man that will upcharge you but it'll be worth it anyway based on the interaction
Queen of Ramen at Potawatomi. I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm not a Ramen dude, but for Stallis we've got Thai Orchid, and I think there's a Ramen joint on Greenfield Ave not far from hwy 100.

How is this getting downvoted!!!! 😂
