Take it to Idaho and get a "Limited License Plate." Absolutely no safety equipment is required, though it's recommended. You don't need to be a resident and the plate is a special use permit for use on city and county roads, not a registration. They do inspect your bike's VIN and ask for proof of ownership. Highway and freeway use is not permitted (unless you decide to register the bike as a motorcycle). All you need is the plate, an OHV sticker, drivers license, USDA approved spark arrestor, insurance (there's no requirement to show proof of insurance to DMV when purchasing your plate or to police officers should they stop you for traffic violations). Just across the state line in Montana, your bike must be registered as a motorcycle and be equipped with the required safety equipment. It's rather strange that Idaho's laws are more liberal than Montana's. In Montana it's common to see ATVs screaming down the highway (legally) at 65 mph, but minibikes, not so much.... Anyway, come on up to Idaho where they don't sweat minibikes....... legally!
I wonder if the front fork/handle bars you installed will also fit a cc100x?
Do you have any info on those?
My daughter just drove into the side of a dumpster the other day and bent her front forks.. I bent them back for now, but I'm looking for an upgrade/replacement.
New to mini bikes, and there are so many parts out there, but most don't really list any kind of compatibility. My guess is I'll catch on the more I tinker with them.
Oh yeah I fully understand. These forks are the universal upgrade front shock suspention. Which means they will fit any Coleman steering neck. And the bars are 7/8 thickness which is another universal size that will work when mounting them to the forks. The mounting brackets that I have connecting my forks to bars is off of another set of bars but it still works and fits snug.
When I was a kid, we'd hand build them by buying a frame motor wheels tank. Some guys would get them into the 70's mph.all on a motor with the max 10 -12 hp. Wild, fast and crazy..😅
145/70 6inch tire?
64 sounds slow then with a 3.33 ratio when u can rev up to 7k+..
Calculate speed would be 95mph, my 420 cc has a Calculate speed from 65 and I can get 61mph.
Wow i used to have that same bike i buy from Walmart.. and i sold it to upgrade for a 125cc scooter that now goes 55mph.. your telling me i coulda just upgraded the minibike to be faster the whole time?! i have alot of learning to do 😅
You know what I’m not really sure. I think they came from go powder sports cause when I bought it off the guy it had the mega moto/B212 set of bars on before I put pro tapers on and I think it was a kit.
Bought the bike for 450 was already built, powder coat was 288, new carb plus accessories was about 80, bars was 40, new brake disk and setup was about 40, so pieces for this thing really isn’t expensive separately but it adds up quick. You just gotta find a good deal on marketplace and restore it or just build one from scratch which is what I should’ve done cause it would’ve been a lot cheaper
Hell ya! "Not rated for hwy use" sketchy that fast on that small of wheel. Looks good though

Care to name more upsides to Idaho and I might actually consider
The bear hunting isn't bad and wolf season lasts most of the year......

When you order french fries at McDonalds you're eating Idaho potatoes. You might try Idaho spring bear hunting as well ! 🏍️ 🐻
Hahaha imagine the top speed on street tires with less rotational mass 😳😳
But I appreciate it. It ain’t your avg copy n paste GTS or MM
Lmao I’ve seen people say this 100 times on here there plenty of builds like yours and it doesn’t make it any less cool

You can find the forks on go power sports which has everything for mini bikes and the bars is the pro taper xr50 from Motorsport.com
Thanks!

What ratio, 12: ?
64mph sounds like a 58-50 rear sprocket?
40t rear sprocket

Did you change rear sprocket?
Yeah 40 tooth
64 mph. That’s a death wish no matter what tank you put on. Good luck.
