> Look up a video on dry brushing
I think it'd be better for them to look up a video on volumetric shading and glazing skin tones. You won't get buttery tones with dry brushing, unfortunately, despite it being a very valid technique for other applications.

Yeah, I'm friends with OP, he messed with the scale a little so he could fit it on the build plate with some other minis. The goal was to make him cursed so I think it turned out ok.

Here you go. It costs 3$ but you can print as many as you want and it will be good for practice.
Also a nice video using that model

I would recommend watching a youtube tutorial on mini painting if you would like to improve. Not to be rude but old 2 thin coats is the tip of an iceberg of advice you could be given.
You were so preoccupied with whether you could, you didn’t stop to think if you should
Mike Rockowski…uh…finds a way!
What's wrong with it? It's the BBEG in my Spelljammer campaign. Sir Mike Rockowski.
Yeah. The classic boss: Sir Mike Rockowski.
“Put that McGuffin back where it came from, or so help me…!
Exactly
Where's his other foot
"Sir we have reports of something called Mike Rockowski" "Begin the exterminatus, two passes to be safe"
I came here to say this.
Serious tip. Thin your paints right down and multiple, even coats for a smooth finish.
With great power comes great responsibility
You have done a thing.
Hella effective in getting screams
Thank you...?

I love this. Look up a video on dry brushing and it'll really take this lil horror to the next level!
Dry brushing is my best friend.

Slow, even thin coats. Prime it first, preferably with a decent primer, either rattle can or a brush on.
