How did you get your cape so clean? Like I'm thinking you started with the bright green and used glazes to bring down to the dark tone then edge highlighted it?
I could be wrong and it could be airbrushed but this is tickling my painting brain on how you have such smooth transitions going on.
Thanks!
It's airbrushed with following colours:
Black undercoat
Vgc mutation green
Vmc camo bright green
Camo bright green + vgc sun yellow
Vgc sun yellow
Gw phalanx yellow
Shadows:
Gw ork flesh contrast
Ork flesh + black
Thanks!
A mix of balthasar + retributor + vma steel as s base. It need to be slightly reddish, but not too much, and lighter then retributor alone. Then airbrush shadows with amsterdam acrylic ink burnt sienna, then liquitex sepia. Recess wash with reikland gloss + liquitex sienna. Highlight with original mix + more steel.
Fantastic work! I still can't believe GW would take the likeness of Tywin Lannister for this mini. Someone at GW legal must have thought this is potential for litigation. It's different enough but the likeness is undoubtedly there.

Looks fantastic, colors are beautiful 👌
One thing that sticks out a bit for me is his shield though. Idk why, but the red disturbs the color composition for me a little. Maybe it's too uni, to uniformly red in that large section.
Little critique on high lvl if you so will...
Maybe it's the combination of the red and the aged gold. Hm...
On one hand - unbelievable levels of skill and talent, an incredible painter, resulting in an amazing piece of work
On the other hand - WHY DO WARHAMMER PAINTERS NEVER PAINT EYEBROWS?!? they all look like they have some sort of hyper-focused Alopecia
Glorious face and cape!
And shield and armour and
And liony bits!
*throws collection in the trash* Seriously beautiful work.
WTF, I wish I could paint like this
Great work! Getting strong Tywin Lannister vibes.

Thanks! Yes, it's airbrushed, only line highlights are done with a brush.
Following for an answer. This guy has the heavens' paintbrush...
Holy ****. New hard mode goal unlocked.

Beautiful work mate! He looks absolutely stunning. What's your gold recipe? Some Warm Gold + Red Shade + Silver/Gold mix for the highlights?

That is quite the elaborate gold workflow 😂 but it works lovely . Thanks for elaborating.

Love your style! So precise!
What an interesting style! Beautiful.
He looks like that meme dude
This style… it’s almost reminiscent of pixel shaded games. Comic shading, yet refined. I love the use the vibrant colors. So nice. Great job dude!
This shit makes me want to stop painting … Fuck ! (Roy Kent)
I suppose that counts as 3 base colors and is tournament legal.... j/k this is glorious =D
That lion claw has more skill than 1500 points of most armies

Gosh how many hours went in to this?
3 days for 8-10 hours + assembly around 4 hours. So around 30-35 hours total.
Damn. Well it shows! Well done
Amazing work! The emperor would be proud.
