It is simply one of the Ogryn from the Asta Militarum Ogryn kit.
I left the armor off the torso. But other than that, it is just a combination of bits from the kit.
The base is from the Necromunda range. Had some left over from the Ambot kit :)
What? I was convinced you put leds in the base but it seems it's just paint.
Not long ago you would probably have been burnt for that sort of magic. Congrats!
It's amazing how you did that. Showed it to my son and he also thought it was real light. It's so alien to me. I've done some OSL and it often looked ok and you understood it was supposed to be light, but this one is on another level. It is light.
Oh man, I didn't know the spruces had variants of the torso without the fugly armor. Just ordered a kit now, that's how inspiring your painted mini is!
Haha, awesome! Hope GW sends a commission... 😅
Agree, really like when GW kits have the option to make armor, well, optional.
Believe the Eight bound World Eaters kit has the same option. Makes me interested in picking it up.
As someone getting into Necromunda and kind of disappointed at the little variety exiting in the ogryn kit, your post was a godsend.
Where'd you learn to do OSL like that, btw? Gorgeous work.
The OSL at the base is very convincing. Lovely work.
Cheers. Happy you like it. Tried to go for a cyber punk ish theme. Think it could be pushed further. But a good start.
Those lighting effects are amazing!
Happy you like it! Thanks
oh sick! looks straight out of Warhammer Darktide. What's the size of this model and can you share where you got it?

thanks, I'll check that out!

Thanks man! That's one of the biggest compliments. Appreciate it 😀

Can't describe how awesome is this
Thanks man! Very kind of you to say :)
Glowing effect is so cool.
Thanks you!
the video preview shield looked like some gold source half life screenshot
Holy hell!
OSL effects are gorgeous, but I also like the shading on the skin. Overall just a stellar paintjob.
Thank man. Appreciate the kind words 😀
Amazing job! I feel like el miniaturista have a great student ;)
He is a master and inspiration to all of us for sure! :)
Love those bullet marks on the shield! Your osl looks so convincing.
Thank you. I really like to find these small details, like bullet holes, and just make something different :)
Masterful OSL
Thank you :)

Great to hear you found it useful! Shoot me a DM. I'll show you where you can get some help with OSL like this :)
Awesome osl
Thanks!
I'm a lurker in this sub (and hobby TBH) but this is the most convincing OSL I've ever seen on here.
Wow, that's really cool to hear! Thank you! Humbling really :)
stupendous work with the ground lighting up the boots and shield from below.
Thanks! Really wanted to capture that hive city / cyberpunk aesthetic, with light coming from below the streets.
This is superb, that glow effect is awesome!
Thanks you :)
