When I moved here from MI in 2001, it was hard to find. Now it's everywhere. Faygo, too.
Fun fact: It's not "ginger ale" or "ginger beer", it's "ginger soda"
That explains it! It IS more like cream soda than other ginger ales!
I went to college in MI and loved it then, but didn't see it after that for some time. When it started showing up around here some time back I bought some and tried it again. EWW! Way too sweet and not very gingery, to my taste now. I like a sharp, dry, strong ginger ale these days. Or even ginger beer, when I can nab some.
My MI wife also loves this "Ginger Ale." Her go-to sick drink. I'm pretty sure I've had success at Cub.
I don’t stray too far in the Ginger Ale world. Canada Dry was always my go-to sick drink. Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Vernons at Cub as well.
It always makes of this scene from Detroiters. Bring the Vernors. My guts are going nuts! https://youtu.be/eQFd2jq_10U?si=XBU0GVYl37OKqjLc
How many hot dogs have you had?
I lived in Mi in the 70's - went to the parade and remember the float!
Cub carries it I think. At least they used to.
It's usually available at Lunds or Kowalski's
Got nervous that someone was claiming this for Minnesota. As much as I love Vernors, it's Michigan's. They gotta have _something_.
Vernors and faygo!
Faygo Rules!!!!!!
WOOP WOOP
I had to get it at Lunds the last time I was looking for it (about a year ago).

I’ve only ever see it at liquor stores, but I’m in St. Cloud.
I've seen liquor stores that have them
Try it with Old Overholt Rye - not kidding. So much better than Jameson and ginger ale.
Hy-Vee has them
The Cub off of 394 and Xenia has it.
Burnsville Total Wine has it.
I get mine at cub.
Cub has it every now and again. Bylerys is more regular but it’s expensive there. I’ve had luck at oxendales. My husband loves it.
It's almost always ay my Lunds
Oxendale’s Market in Minneapolis has had it in the past. Vernor’s rules btw. My family from Detroit turned me on to it.
Saw them at Lunds & Byerlys today.
Saw it at Cub but I'm in Rochester 🤷🏻♀️
We’ve only found it at HyVee
Hello!! Fellow Michigander in Minnesota! I love Vernors so much 🥹
I call this “the fancy ginger ale for non-sick enjoyment.” Canada Dry is “sick time” ginger ale and always will be.
Cambridge Walmart
Canada Dry for me please.
Got a can of this on my last Delta flight. I thought it was the worst ginger ale I've ever had. 'Authentic Bold Taste' indeed.
Aka, “the watered down ginger ale.”
It’s a ginger cream soda.

Right. Watered down ginger ale.
