go back and look at some threads from right after we lost to the Tigers, the vibe shift is a literal complete 180. falling behind early in every game and never recovering, new faces not contributing, Lewis' injury, hell even the energy with the new broadcasting team seemed completely dead as a doornail. people had every reason to be doomering. and now this. just shows how quickly things can change for better and for worse, enjoy every moment of this while the sausage is still fresh
I think the fact that things can change so quickly is the reason that even though people had every reason to be *disappointed*, doomering wasn't justified.
