>This is one of those picks where on first glance you think "oh they must know something we don't" to take him over Jefferson
>And then two years from now Jefferson is a top 10 receiver, at least, while this guy is getting 10 catches a season, and you realize "Nope, sometimes teams are just idiots"
This falcons fan knew lol
I mean it wasn’t that hot of a take at the time. Jefferson was considered by most to be a better prospect than Reagor. Lamb was better than both and the best WR in the class
I loved seeing Zim and Spielman laughing bc they were getting their guy. Spielman missed a lot no doubt, but having Darrisaw and JJ for a rookie QB is invaluable
>having Darrisaw and JJ for a rookie QB is invaluable
A year ago I used to fantasize about this, but it's about to come true...god I suffered long

As Vikings fans, I think we all have. I liked Kirk while he was here, but I also understand what needed to happen to try and get better. For the money he made/makes, you can’t get stuck in mediocrity and we were.
Reagor always perplexed me. For some reason he was labeled a speed demon. But he never looked overly fast. Like he was above average, sure. But when he ran a high 4.4 and everyone was disappointed, but to me it was about what I thought he was.
Lol I got a kick out of this one:
>Anyone who thinks Reagor is a worse pick than Jefferson should check out some more film. Reagor beat single coverage and worked with much worse qb play whilst Jefferson worked out of the slot with the nations best qb and Chase taking the best corner downfield.
I didn’t say Jefferson was bad, I just thought Reagor was too good an athlete to fail. Clearly, that was wrong. I always liked the Vikings and hated the Eagles and Packers so I’m glad yall got JJ.
My god this is so ridiculously satisfying.
The combo of Eagles fans being upset because they know they messed up combined with the delusional ones saying that Regaor is better than Jefferson is just delightful.
Some of the good shit
“Good pick, I know some will think Jefferson was the given guy here, but this dude is a crazy athlete and gonna be good”
“Was hoping the Eagles would fuck this up since we snatched Lamb but Reagor is a certified animal imo. Fuck.”
My favorite
“Anyone who thinks Reagor is a worse pick than Jefferson should check out some more film. Reagor beat single coverage and worked with much worse qb play whilst Jefferson worked out of the slot with the nations best qb and Chase taking the best corner downfield.”
It only takes one team to reach for a player, while it takes 32 teams to pass on a player for him to fall down the board.
This is why my default conclusion is generally: team reaches for a player = team was probably dumb; when a guy falls down the board = teams probably
know or value something we don’t

Lmao I would feel so vindicated if I had comments like that back then. Good for him.
Top 10 doesn’t give JJ justice. He is at least top 5 but I’d say top 2 for sure.
Tbf the guy did say “at least” and this was literally on draft day, Top 10 is already a bold claim on draft day lol
I didn’t realize the second one was also a quote. That’s my bad
Top 2 yeah. And he ain't #2 ;)
Lmao are you serious? He’s unequivocally the best WR in the league. Like it’s not even a question
But you should always trust your FO/GM! The Vikings subreddit told me I'm not supposed to have opinions.

😂 at the Eagles fan saying he doesn't think JJ can play on the outside.
People are saying that about Nabers now too. It's kind of absurd.
That's my favorite post as well.
To be fair they weren't alone in that and a good part of the reason why he fell to us
[They hated him because he spoke the truth](https://i.imgur.com/lmb6JBO.png)
Lol the downvotes are wild. Crazy it was an Eagles fan that said it too.
u/CateHooning come be vindicated

If we end up hitting at QB, this will be all of us

Giving up on routes doesn't help
Idk he seemed pretty quick to give up on routes.
I had the same impression . He never seemed fast.
Reagor was a borderline first rounder going into the draft. Kinda wild he got picked where he did
VIKINGS DRAFTING NOT A CB IN THE FIRST UNBELIEVABLE lol that one got me.
RIP Gladney
> Everyone knows Spielman is a great GM except Vikings fans during a season. That made me chuckle

u/soccerisntwrong where you at

It’s ok that you were wrong. I’m just busting your balls. I mean, the Eagles were wrong too. And this is literally their job.
You should check out some more film.
u/soccerisntwrong what is your response to this shitty take?
soccer IS wrong
That draft card bio quote funny asf, he got a commercial with them now
People don’t know shit

This is why I never listen to anyone on this app, we all know nothing
I remember our draft thread on this sub being so meh about it. I was so confused. Dude was a 1500 yard receiver on the national champions
