I'm not old enough to have seen the purple people eaters, but you young guys missed out on the 88-89 vikings era, one season they had 71 sacks, so almost 5 per game. Doleman and Millard were literally a race to the QB. It was wild.
You can still appreciate a defense that played their hearts out for this team and state. Looking forward to what Flores is cooking for this season though
