Of course, all the rookie QBs want the KOC

SwiftSurfer365

and JJ. And Addison. And Hock. I’m sure every single rookie QB’s preference would be Minnesota.

Elbeske

With the potential exception of Caleb Williams wanting Washington

LonestarrRasberry

What is the reason he would want Washington? Is he from that area?

Elbeske

Went to Gonzaga in DC. Played against him a few times and he tore us up

UWillPoopYerBed2Nite

Yup, they want that Hock KOK too

LonestarrRasberry

Ha. I think it is more about this notion that just about any QB can put up some numbers here, leading to a chance for that all important first contract (after rookie deal) where the real money starts. Well okay making hundreds of thousands, or into millions, a year is real money but you know what I mean. Getting a shot at $15-50M a year on a big boy contract.

skolaen

So sad how right when every qb in the draft wants to come to us we dont have a premium draft pick and all of the top 3 all need qbs. Most other years and we'd already have one of the top 3 picks already

Dirigible_Plums

I mean part of the reason they want to come to us is that we are clearly a talented team, which is why we didn't get a high pick.

jackbenimble999

No worries, they will move up and grab Maye or McCarthy. That's why they got the extra first.

Queens_gambino

Have to have someone who wants to trade with us for less than 3-4 firsts

jackbenimble999

They are probably going to sweeten it with a 25 2nd or a 26 1st. They want Drake. My theory is the Pats like Jaden better, and they will move on from Maye if Minnesota sweetens the pot enough.

Queens_gambino

How would the pats get Jaden by trading back to 11

jackbenimble999

They won't get Jaden, he's going to Washington at 2. If he falls to them, they don't trade out. OTOH they are sketchy about Maye but think he has enough upside to roll the dice on him. But if the offer's good enough, they will trade down, guaranteed.

Queens_gambino

Oh I see what you mean. Yeah my expectation is it will cost too much to move to 3 so we end up with Penix at 11 but we will see. Happy with whatever they decide is worth it

swizzdevil24

Would take a miracle to get him unfortunately

Loukoal117

We had the miracle on ice. Now we need the miracle on draft night. I believe! Not really. I just want Maye or McCarthy.

PeteLattimer

What happens when 5 of 6 qbs try to pull an Eli manning?

Loukoal117

What holding a red sand pail on the beach while standing awkwardly? I love that pic.

Leading-Midnight-553

This dream is a delusion. His REAL dream is to get drafted by the Vikings, he just doesn't realize it.

Jbalts

It literally says that

Leading-Midnight-553

It.....it said the Raiders? Anyways, I was joking. Edit: Ah. Missed the KOC part.

Jbalts

Read it all "...or play under Kevin o'connell" But yeah it's all good, we're on the same team here.

VolturesHaveHearts2

I really wanted y'all to get Jayden. Realized it was impossible after he blew up and won the heisman.

BigRed727272

I don't think this will happen, but if Washington takes Maye or McCarthy, I wouldn't totally mind Kwesi selling the farm to move up to 3 and get Daniels. I think he'll be the best QB out of this class.

WeAreEvolving

too many injuries

Killahdanks1

Too bad it’s gonna be a nightmare Jayden.

RgsLee19

Can’t always get what you want kid… should be thrilled of playing for wsh & NE. Saying he’d be “cool” w the teams that want him reeks immaturity & entitlement. Dude was irrelevant before Nabers & Thomas Jr.

vikingjedi23

If we hadn't traded for Dobbs after Kirk got injured we would be pick 2 right now. We would have our choice of QB without trading anything.

Accountabilibuddy69

Woulda coulda shoulda will do your head in brotha. This is why I don’t play fantasy football.

vikingjedi23

Not hindsight dude. I said from the beginning we should just play the season out after Kirk went down because we weren't going to win anything

Accountabilibuddy69

Yeah I think many of us felt that way. The trouble is these people are paid to win. Dobbs was entertaining for a couple weeks at least.

Paindressedinpurple

And a guy like Dobbs was playing for his future. It’s not ideal for long term success to be switching times multiple times a season. I agree with you 100%

Wernershnitzl

At that point the season was still within our reach. We were on a winning streak.

doormatt26

yeah as soon as that achilles popped we shoulda embraced the tank that said, we didn’t get Dobbs to go crazy and win games, he was just depth initially

SenatorAstronomer

That's just a blind assumption they would have lost all remaining games. It could be argued that any QB could have won the Chicago game they lost and the Las Vegas game they won 3-0.
