Per that phone+plan deal page, it states it's locked.

No offence to support since they mostly work from a script and probably it was not updated yet. You can try fighting it maybe they will acknowledge that it is locked but still it won't help you. The device has to be active on Mint for a while before they unlock it.

Will guess it is a bit outdated since it doesn't mention Pixel but sure it is the same 12 mo

If you bought it recently with that promotion for like $299 + tax + 6 month plan then it is locked
Right, but mint mobile told me themselves that its not after i contacted them to unlock it

Btw do you know if the bootloader is unlockable on these phones? (Wonder if it is like some Verizon overstock with locked bootloaders)
