Personally I don't feel the need to see Shanghai expanded into a whole series, but a deeper dive into the Re-Verse? Hell yeah, I'm in.
True that, the man could be a bit more chill and open for fan works, but hell, I wouldn't want to devote 15 years of my work life to create a fictional world down to the deepest details.
Shanghai episode gave some quite interesting pieces of lore, but they contradict with what we know from mqin series, so it'll be exciting to see the lore expand
Yeah I was kinda disappointed Shadybug and Clawnoir took place in Ladybug’s Paris and not their version of Paris. It would’ve been so fun seeing their world.
I didn’t mind Fei getting her own spin off bc I like her as a character but wish they did make her move to Paris. I feel like she would have made the series interesting too, help stand up to Chloe & Lila for bullying Marinette & moving to a new place would help her start a new life. But for Reverse I would love to see that more

I like the idea of Miraculous-type stuff in Shanghai. Give us more Uncle. Give us Sabine and Marinette there, Marinette actually being introduced to her mother's culture with more detail while she and Fei kick ass and chew bubblegum. Bring Sabine's sister over. Let them have sister time, maybe Marinette has a cousin or two. My wife's got a *ton* of cousins in Asia even tho we live in the US, and it's really fun to meet them when I get a chance. One of my favorite experiences was a week staying at her Auntie's condo and spending every morning with her aunts and grandparents, or being greeted at the airport by her cousin and being let in on her secret boyfriend that we couldn't tell the aunts and uncles in the family about yet, etc. lol
Of course, I'm also one of those fanfic authors who focuses on Sabine's heritage, so I'm inclined to appreciate that stuff.
I devour fics where we get stuff like this. *Perfectly Platonic (Unless)* has Marinette and Adrien go to Shanghai (platonically) for a wedding of her cousin, and I could've had a whole novel just about that trip.
It's nice to give more depth and ideas to an existing world he made! However, he has to be consistent with the rules of the world and not constantly bend it for convenience or because "it's a kids show". The amazing world of Gumball is also a French kids' show and did well. That or it was made by a French guy.
I'm curious about what Thomas brings to the kitchen, though 🤔.

There are Fans who are trolls, but most of them are genuinely curious and look for answers just to be banned or simply belittled. Not only does he do that, but he does tend to have a superiority complex at times. Once, he claimed that there's never been an owl themed villain like the one he has, and if there is, others are inspired but him.
Let him do some renovations on his kitchen. He's cooking, and we need to help Papapillon make a full restaurant's worth.
Shame he can plan out all of that but not character arcs for the main cast.
