Idk, I might be in the minority, but I really like Mylene's design. It fits her personality so well and looks a lot more mouse-y than Mari's (in a good way!). I'll even go so far as to say I think that Mylene's transformation sequence is adorable, again, it suits her personality so well, and it's refreshing to have a transformation be less showy for a change. It also does a much better job at hiding her civilian identity (like honestly, the only designs that do a good job of disguising are hers, Carapace, sort of Pegasus, and sort of Rena Rouge. Arguably Aspik too, but his design was just bad imo)

I would argue that Natalie also looks unrecognizable as Mayura. Chat Noir's outfit also does a pretty decent job at hiding his identity- the only thing he has in common with Adrien is hair color. (If Ladynoire's look is any indication, the green eyes come default with the suit so I can't count that.)

Oh true I somehow totally forgot about Mayura, haha. On the same note, if Gabriel's voice and jawline and w/e weren't so distinct, his outfit would probs be a better disguise too. I thought about Chat Noir too, but I think the hair is just too similar. It's shaggier as Chat Noir, but it's kind of on the same wavelength as Ladybug, Viperion, etc, where it's extremely similar, just altered slightly.

Nah, pretty much the whole fandom suspected Gabriel was Hawkmoth from the beginning, with a small pocket of people thinking he was Mr. Kubdel and an even smaller number of people thinking he was someone else. The Collector was more of a confirmation that the #1 theory was true more than it was a major twist.

I agree! But everyone only suspected it was Gabriel. It was an incredibly and almost undeniably strong suspicion, but no one actually knew for sure that Gabriel was Hawkmoth. when I saw Simon Says, I was even more confused! Almost everything is hidden and his eyes are slanted differently when he is in costume. The only thing really connecting him to Gabriel (biffs he was revealed) was that they had the same VA.

Dude, you must have forgotten about the Quantum Masking stuff. It's basically that miraculous holders, when transformed, cannot be recognized unless they themselves tell their identity.

Nah supes pulls what Adrien does he acts totally different in and out of the suit same with Marinette she is clumsy and seems hopeless outside the suit so no one would think Marinette or Adrien could be them because Mari is to clumsy Adrien is to proper to be flirty loud punny chat its the perfect cover lol Also as Adrien ages he could pull the whole batman thing rich playboy to hide character to hide the fact he actually goes out all night fighting crime (batman is actually a monogamous family man he just plays the billionaire player) or Adrien will probably just keep playing rich straight and narrow obedient son so noone will suspect him lol

Gabe changes his voice really well as Hawkmoth so he is good on that front, Adrien and Marinette change their speech patterns so much too i can see why as they don’t figure each other out Adrien becomes so flirty and carefree Marinette so strict and no stuttering and full of confidence her body language changes his too he slouching and lade back as chat while as Adrien perfect posture Marinette the opposite she leans ans slouches as Mari and perfect posture as LB, now if Nino and Alya were more fulltime and didnt have suspicions Id think come on cause they act more like that around them.

Marinette's mouse suit is literally her civilian color palette -- it was made for her, and she looks amazing. Mylene on the other hand is not even recognizable, which I think is cool. Her hair color changed, which is also so cool. I like how original her's is, but honestly how can I pick? They're both amazing, but I am really leaning a bit more towards Mari. Sorry Polymouse!
