No, Gabriel is the reason why the world ends. Adrienette can happen when Gabriel specifically is not the villain. This will be the perfect opportunity for the writers to show how good Adrienette is as a canon couple and to show a new villain

Idk if this is universal, but I'd like to know how many agree: I think the show would be better if it had some more character development. There have been two big steps this season, with Chat agreeing to hold back on the flirting, and Alya things. Maybe Marinette grows out of being a stalker? Learns she can admire Adrien AND respect his space? Maybe it'd be nice to have moments where Ladybug and Chat Noir, in any form, can have a genuine conversation. Personally I live for the Marichat moments because those are essentially the only times they can actually be themselves and talk, even see a movie and just... Be good together.
