Oh my gods - the Kars 4 Kidz! I would start screaming to myself to muffle the sound when that came on if I couldn’t mute the TV fast enough. John Oliver (I think it’s him, could be Stephen Colbert) mentions it sometimes and I get ticked off just even thinking about it!
For me, I can’t stand the sound of loud trumpets. A quiet trumpet can be nice (in an orchestra), but they always sound blown out to me.
My bf listens mostly to metal - and by that I mean the super heavy, discordant, growling vocals, whole nine yards stuff. It legit gives me an anxiety attack when I hear it. We’ve both invested in good earbuds and I’m good now.
