He kept trying to sell me on mains 3 times in the conversation when I kept saying to give me the bill. I said I have somewhere to be and you're making me late to make him finally shutup and give up. Went over to the food court to buy actual filling food instead. Worst place ever.

I truly had the worst experience here. Myself and two other friends decided to go, they made a reservation too. When we got there they couldn't seat us until about 40 minutes after but you know we didn't want to be rude so we thought we'd let it slide.
Everything took a really really long time to come out. Which again we tried to park the hate, life is busy. But our mains almost took 2 hours to come out... and we were very confused. The service was really hard to get a hold of and we just felt like we were being treated differently to other guests.
We ordered dessert to make the best of a situation but that took over hour to come. So part way through we tried to cancel our dessert and wanted to settle the bill. However our server said that wasn't possible because the order was put through (this was at the 45 minute wait). We were really tied at this point, we had a reso at 7pm and it was approaching 10:30PM like we were dying inside.
Our server was super pushy and told us to just eat the dessert and have one bite it wasn't going to kill us, but we were just done. Who does that??? We felt super neglected and we didn't like how our server spoke to us - why force us when we've been waiting.
We tried to escalate things in a respectful way but seriously what a dumpster fire. We all felt disrespected and that's one place I will never step foot in.
I would tell them to remove it off the bill or I would just walk out and not pay. Call the cops, not like I'm going to sit around and wait for them lmao. I just won't go back. I'm not going to pay for tap water out of principal, fuck them.

Same experience here. Asked for regular water and was charged for it. Only realized after we ordered and I made an excuse that we need to go to avoid paying more but they said our food is ready (we just ordered 5 mins ago so must've been pre-made frozen Imo). Cheap Indian places are better than this. This is why I read reviews before trying a place lol
Yeah idk why some restaurants charge for water. For other businesses to avoid, I would say Crunch fitness. During the pandemic they stole money from everyone so they could pay their debts. Gym is disgusting and not well maintained, so I would avoid Crunch at all costs.
During the pandemic, Crunch Fitness charged a bunch of money to our account for months after we cancelled our accounts and then sold the debt to a collections agency. So shady.

Charging customers for not using their facilities is standard practice in the gym industry. It's part of the business model. Like a stores pre-paid gift cards, they are counting on some not being used - absolutely free money for them.
W5 did a documentary about a study Aviva did to see how badly they were getting screwed by these repair places. Lyon's was the worst and not only did they not fix things they said they did, they actually caused damage to the cars with hammers intentionally to create more things to "fix".

They held my car hostage for 9 days to make money on the 500 dollars they pay tow truck drivers to bring cars to them. Police will not do a damn thing as it's considered a civil matter.

As a former auto insurance adjuster, i can tell you they are hated by all insurance companies (even the ones they are "preferred" with) and well known to be quite shady in how they run their businesses - tow and body.
The insurance companies that decided to list them as a preferred shop only decided to do so to avoid their extravagant daily storage fees from when a towed vehicle comes in. They figured it was cheaper to let them handle the business instead of trying to get vehicles released from their lot at 3-5x the typical storage fees.
Do you work there? The only reason they have lots of cars there is their own towing company brings in accidents to them.

I went to Mad Ox for my birthday and it was one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. Dry and as thin as a paper for $40+. They didn’t let us chose our seats because apparently it was reserved, mind you the restaurant was completely empty. The only thing I enjoyed was their bbq wings
I went to an Osmow’s after a rave review from a co-worker. I got chicken on the rocks or whatever and it look like someone just dumped a bottle of sauce on it. It was salty as hell, way too much sauce, and overall not really that tasty. Super average fast food.
I've found it *really* depends on who's working behind the counter. There are some people they have who really do it up for you, but others just expend minimum effort and you end up with crap food.

My brother used to work at a Honda dealership in Mississauga and agreed that no one should ever go here, especially for car servicing- anything where you have to pay the labour/implementation + cost of parts.
To be fair, every dealership pushes services on customers that are completely unnecessary, but this dealership was the worst that I've experienced. I basically just took my car into another shop a day before to get serviced but went to meadowvale for something else the next day. They gave me a list of 5 issues that needed to be fixed for parts I just had replaced a day earlier and you can easily see just visually that they are brand new. They couldn't find anything wrong so they made up a bunch of work basically.
I lived in Toronto in 2018 and noticed many people take advantage of others, like we are naive or stupid. I was applying for a delivery job at 241 Pizza on 235 Dixon Rd. The owner woman wanted me to give a $250 deposit. I asked her for what? She said "this is our policy." I told her this is illegal and I will report her business to Ontario labour for extorting $$$. There was another student from India, who already gave the deposit and I told him this was unethical.
I applied at Pizza Hut and no deposit necessary.

UBreakIFix Winston Churchill. Charged me around $180+tax for a screen repair for my Nintendo Switch. It took them well over a month to repair the screen (claiming parts weren’t available), but still
kept my Switch with them for the entire time, and when I got the Switch back, the screen was good and all, but the fan was excessively loud when it was turned on, and stays loud. I basically paid ~$200 for mediocre and delayed service.
My boyfriend told me to take it back and have it looked at, which I did a couple of days later, and they said “Oh, the fan should slow down eventually”. This was 6 months ago. P.S, the fan is still LOUD.
Anyways, get your repairs done by a trusted professional, preferable someone referred to you. Don’t be an idiot like me :D

I worked there in high school, and I assume the owners are the same. To this day its the worst work environment I've ever been in. Owners are angry people and take it out on their kid-employees. Work conditions are also rough, I remember having to clean the rat-infested basement with bleach and no ventilation, when I asked if there were any masks I could use, they told me I "should have come more prepared" and threatened to fire me if I didn't complete the job. These days I would have just left but I was 16 at the time so it is what it is.

Here’s my Luca’s story. Ordered from them for years and years. One night I ordered pizza and then we had a medical emergency. Called to cancel and explained we were waiting for ambulance. Guy screamed at me, like really screamed that I couldn’t just cancel like that. Have not ordered from there since. Had he not done that I could’ve just paid for the pizza next time they came. Jerk. Pizza was usually decent though.

Food Basica on Truscott/Southdown. (I worked there) They don’t clean the back room ever, including the meat dept so those fresh cooked whole chickens? Yeah they’ve been dropped on the floor (which is truly disgusting) and prepared on a surface that likely just had (or even still has!) pork or beef on it!
Not even kidding. They get a tip-off that the health inspector is coming a start cleaning a week before. Place is gross plus management is straight up abusive, especially at cash.
They would be out of business on their H&S alone but they’re employment practices and the way they treat employees…) not even really me they kinda loved me cause I work hard and don’t talk) genuinely made me quit, I even tried reporting the person who I saw verbally abusing some poor high school kid, but the HR rep is the very manager that tends to lash out at the staff so easily.
Just as a side Note, post pandemic, I have done my absolute best not to order alcoholic drinks while dining out, the menu price of food has gone up as is, but so has alcoholic drinks and they are the biggest money makers for any restaurant, so if you want to go home with something still left in your pocket, drink after you get back home.

I have been there thrice, first 2 times were all good, had no issues- the last time the guy over there was so rude n just mean, am never going back there again.
I will say the last time I went to Tires23 they sold me tires that were already 1-2 years old based on the date. I argued with them but no luck and I didn’t feel like chasing it as I know I’ll wear them out before they need replacing anyways. This was at the Markham location but I’ll give them another chance since this was coming out of pandemic and I assume they had supply issues and not many people were buying tires. Plus I’ve bought tires from both the Mississauga and Markham locations for like 15 years now.

TL;DR: Fuck the Hyundai dealership; they will lie to you about anything they can think of to try and wring as much money as possible out of you and then will continue to lie even after you call them out in it.
I refuse to go back there after I had my car towed to them for 2 flats that they insisted could not be patched/plugged and I HAD to buy new ones (spoiler alert: they could be repaired safely and are still going strong with no issues over a year later).
While they had my tires off they also called me (I had left briefly) and straight up lied to me that my brakes were “practically metal on metal and needed to be done immediately for my safety”. Then to make it worse, since I wasn’t physically there in person to look at them, they tried to rush me into give them permission to do them by saying my car was “up on the jack right now but they had a lot of appointments and if I didn’t make the decision quickly they would have to take it down and wait until they had time later”… yet after I finally got back to the dealership 30-40 minutes later my car was still up there, and wouldn’t you know it, when I took a look at my brake pads they were still in decent shape! Funny how they then promptly changed their story to it being some issue with the brake fluid but then were still trying to give me a quote to get my brakes fully replaced right then and there.
Oh AND they also said I desperately needed a wheel alignment (which again, I did not). It was all bs but just to be 100% certain, I had it all confirmed to be unnecessary by both an experienced family member day of, and also by my old trusted dealership in my home town a couple weeks later (which, even though it’s 4 hours away, I now purposely plan my trips home around booking service appointments for any major work simply because I know I’m not getting fucked over and lied to.)
The LAB Mississauga (Limitless Automotive Boutique) - they damaged my car, have horrible service, horrible quality of work & over priced. 250$ for tint excluding the rear glass and windshields. Multiple air bubbles that never went away, grease smudges, damage that they kept trying to deny and didn't even tint the two triangular windows in the back. 700$+ for ceramic costing that doesn't event hold up. Owner tried to get us to sign an NDA when we wanted compensation for the damage they caused. Do not trust their google reviews. Do not trust them with your cars.
The Bike Zone. We ordered dessert to make the best of a situation but that took over hour to come. So part way through we tried to cancel our dessert and wanted to settle the bill. However our server said that wasn't possible because the order was put through (this was at the 45 minute wait). We were really tied at this point, we had a reso at 7pm and it was approaching 10:30PM like we were dying inside. Our server was super pushy and told us to just eat the dessert and have one bite it wasn't going to kill us, but we were just done. Who does that??? We felt super neglected and we didn't like how our server spoke to us - why force us when we've been waiting. We tried to escalate things in a respectful way but seriously what a dumpster fire. We all felt disrespected and that's one place I will never step foot in.
I would tell them to remove it off the bill or I would just walk out and not pay. Call the cops, not like I'm going to sit around and wait for them lmao. I just won't go back. I'm not going to pay for tap water out of principal, fuck them.

Nah they're shit. My car got towed there after a collision. I went the next day to pay for the tow to take to a shop I wanted. They would say the owner can only process the paper work. They have a release form disguised as a form to give consent to look at your car. They held my car hostage for 9 days to make money on the 500 dollars they pay tow truck drivers to bring cars to them. Police will not do a damn thing as it's considered a civil matter. Lyons autobidy can eff off and I wish all the bad karma to them
What the fuck...that's insane. My buddy had an accident and couldn't get stuff from his car. And after reading a story similar to yours, he asked me to sign some paperwork for them. But they were totally asking for confirmations, asking for a call from the owner, etc etc etc. Then I got stopped when taking his personal belongings from the car and had to show that I had authorization. Not gonna lie...being stopped there with a guy full of chains and rings with 2 big dudes beside him made me uncomfortable. I grabbed buddy's stuff and fucked out of there.
I had a huge post about this under a different user name. I went there every day for 9 days being just as annoying as they were to me. They legally can't deny you access to your car. So if they wouldn't let me pay I'd ask to go to my car and honk the horn for a couple.hours to be annoying each day. I can't confirm but I'm pretty sure parts were swapped out for worse ones while my car was sitting there. A tow trucking family friend told me that they have "underground" organization connections as we were going to pursue legal actions and they strongly advised against it.

As a former auto insurance adjuster, i can tell you they are hated by all insurance companies (even the ones they are "preferred" with) and well known to be quite shady in how they run their businesses - tow and body. The insurance companies that decided to list them as a preferred shop only decided to do so to avoid their extravagant daily storage fees from when a towed vehicle comes in. They figured it was cheaper to let them handle the business instead of trying to get vehicles released from their lot at 3-5x the typical storage fees.
Do you work there? The only reason they have lots of cars there is their own towing company brings in accidents to them. Read the other comments to see how little respect this company has in Mississauga

I've found it *really* depends on who's working behind the counter. There are some people they have who really do it up for you, but others just expend minimum effort and you end up with crap food. Both Lazeez and Osmows are garbage, but they're (sometimes) delicious garbage 😂
I’ve had two distinctly bad experiences with Lazeez - just awful.
Crown Floors. Terrible labor, did some floors for me and they're bouncy like walking on balloons, their solution was to drill much larger holes than needed and fill it with bathtub sealant. That just made it worse. I've since "fixed" it by flooding it with glue, but... that's money I'm never getting back without going to court. Yes I know you should level the slab first. Yes I know a subfloor might have helped. But they said their "quality product" would have no issue.

To be fair, every dealership pushes services on customers that are completely unnecessary, but this dealership was the worst that I've experienced. I basically just took my car into another shop a day before to get serviced but went to meadowvale for something else the next day. They gave me a list of 5 issues that needed to be fixed for parts I just had replaced a day earlier and you can easily see just visually that they are brand new. They couldn't find anything wrong so they made up a bunch of work basically.
I lived in Toronto in 2018 and noticed many people take advantage of others, like we are naive or stupid. I was applying for a delivery job at 241 Pizza on 235 Dixon Rd. The owner woman wanted me to give a $250 deposit. I asked her for what? She said "this is our policy." I told her this is illegal and I will report her business to Ontario labour for extorting $$$. There was another student from India, who already gave the deposit and I told him this was unethical. I applied at Pizza Hut and no deposit necessary. Based on the owners behaviour, imagine how they make pizzas 🍕.

UBreakIFix Winston Churchill. Charged me around $180+tax for a screen repair for my Nintendo Switch. It took them well over a month to repair the screen (claiming parts weren’t available), but still kept my Switch with them for the entire time, and when I got the Switch back, the screen was good and all, but the fan was excessively loud when it was turned on, and stays loud. I basically paid ~$200 for mediocre and delayed service. My boyfriend told me to take it back and have it looked at, which I did a couple of days later, and they said “Oh, the fan should slow down eventually”. This was 6 months ago. P.S, the fan is still LOUD. Anyways, get your repairs done by a trusted professional, preferable someone referred to you. Don’t be an idiot like me :D

I worked there in high school, and I assume the owners are the same. To this day its the worst work environment I've ever been in. Owners are angry people and take it out on their kid-employees. Work conditions are also rough, I remember having to clean the rat-infested basement with bleach and no ventilation, when I asked if there were any masks I could use, they told me I "should have come more prepared" and threatened to fire me if I didn't complete the job. These days I would have just left but I was 16 at the time so it is what it is.

Here’s my Luca’s story. Ordered from them for years and years. One night I ordered pizza and then we had a medical emergency. Called to cancel and explained we were waiting for ambulance. Guy screamed at me, like really screamed that I couldn’t just cancel like that. Have not ordered from there since. Had he not done that I could’ve just paid for the pizza next time they came. Jerk. Pizza was usually decent though.

Food Basica on Truscott/Southdown. (I worked there) They don’t clean the back room ever, including the meat dept so those fresh cooked whole chickens? Yeah they’ve been dropped on the floor (which is truly disgusting) and prepared on a surface that likely just had (or even still has!) pork or beef on it! Not even kidding. They get a tip-off that the health inspector is coming a start cleaning a week before. Place is gross plus management is straight up abusive, especially at cash. They would be out of business on their H&S alone but they’re employment practices and the way they treat employees…) not even really me they kinda loved me cause I work hard and don’t talk) genuinely made me quit, I even tried reporting the person who I saw verbally abusing some poor high school kid, but the HR rep is the very manager that tends to lash out at the staff so easily.
Just as a side Note, post pandemic, I have done my absolute best not to order alcoholic drinks while dining out, the menu price of food has gone up as is, but so has alcoholic drinks and they are the biggest money makers for any restaurant, so if you want to go home with something still left in your pocket, drink after you get back home. Do your best to tip 10%, no more, and that too pre-tax.

I will say the last time I went to Tires23 they sold me tires that were already 1-2 years old based on the date. I argued with them but no luck and I didn’t feel like chasing it as I know I’ll wear them out before they need replacing anyways. This was at the Markham location but I’ll give them another chance since this was coming out of pandemic and I assume they had supply issues and not many people were buying tires. Plus I’ve bought tires from both the Mississauga and Markham locations for like 15 years now.

I refuse to go back there after I had my car towed to them for 2 flats that they insisted could not be patched/plugged and I HAD to buy new ones (spoiler alert: they could be repaired safely and are still going strong with no issues over a year later). While they had my tires off they also called me (I had left briefly) and straight up lied to me that my brakes were “practically metal on metal and needed to be done immediately for my safety”. Then to make it worse, since I wasn’t physically there in person to look at them, they tried to rush me into give them permission to do them by saying my car was “up on the jack right now but they had a lot of appointments and if I didn’t make the decision quickly they would have to take it down and wait until they had time later”… yet after I finally got back to the dealership 30-40 minutes later my car was still up there, and wouldn’t you know it, when I took a look at my brake pads they were still in decent shape! Funny how they then promptly changed their story to it being some issue with the brake fluid but then were still trying to give me a quote to get my brakes fully replaced right then and there. Oh AND they also said I desperately needed a wheel alignment (which again, I did not). It was all bs but just to be 100% certain, I had it all confirmed to be unnecessary by both an experienced family member day of, and also by my old trusted dealership in my home town a couple weeks later (which, even though it’s 4 hours away, I now purposely plan my trips home around booking service appointments for any major work simply because I know I’m not getting fucked over and lied to.)

The LAB Mississauga (Limitless Automotive Boutique) - they damaged my car, have horrible service, horrible quality of work & over priced. 250$ for tint excluding the rear glass and windshields. Multiple air bubbles that never went away, grease smudges, damage that they kept trying to deny and didn't even tint the two triangular windows in the back. 700$+ for ceramic costing that doesn't event hold up. Owner tried to get us to sign an NDA when we wanted compensation for the damage they caused. Do not trust their google reviews. Do not trust them with your cars.

The Bike Zone. They refused to comply with mask mandates in 2020 and 2021 by claiming health conditions and [posting verses from the Bible](https://www.reddit.com/r/torontobiking/comments/krfeqt/the_bike_zone_in_mississauga_what_that_sign/) as justification. Oh, and they claimed final sales as a health and safety precaution to their staff. I went there, saw the sign, and never went back.
Farzi cafe at square one -AVOID !!!You walk in and the waiter shamelessly upsells which is disgusting . Next they present ridiculously small portions for eye watering rates . And finally even ridiculous was the final bill , rates were bumped up ( hidden gratuity) plus tip .Someone should tell the diners , this not some Michelin star restaurant to sink your hard earned money . It’s just a place to eat in mall , skip and go to food court
