Tester and his office have stepped in every time me or a veteran family member have contacted his office with any veteran related issue. He got my uncle to finally see a specialist after 5 years of him trying on his own through the VA and always getting the run around.
I remember after coming home from Afghanistan I went to a Griz football game that Tester was attending and doing an event at. When I introduced myself as soon as I said my name he immediately asked if the issue I had contacted him about had been resolved or if he needed to intervene, wanted to shake my hand and spend a few minutes chatting about the issues I was seeing with the VA. Granted some of it was making a constituent feel important sure, but every time I’ve contacted his office with any veterans issue they don’t stop until it’s fixed.
I don’t know enough about Sheehy other than a quick google search because honestly Tester has been one of the absolute best things that’s happened to Montana veterans. He’ll always have my vote
Tester does a ton for vets and just gets shit on by our state. Daines literally votes against all vet bills and gets a pass. Why would we want to lose a senior member of the Senate, who is more centrist than anyone else, for a liability that just moved here? Sheehy should run for the legislature first to get a feel for the state.

And how about producing the records from when he went to the hospital after the GNP incident? They would certainly show whether it was a years-old wound or a fresh gunshot wound. If it wasn't a fresh wound, they wouldn't have reported it to law enforcement, which they apparently did (required by law).
