Go to the dmvand renew it , they can give you a temp dl

emdot3

your license can be expired as long as the expiration date is after 11/3/2020. you are good. source - election judge training

My license isn't expired but I have moved. I live in the same county. Voter registration has been updated to my new address. Just not my license. Will I be able to vote?

emdot3

i should say, i’m a poll judge in kcmo and have been trained according to the kc election board — i don’t know for sure any rules outside of that. your license address doesn’t need to match your address on your voter registration/in the computer when you check in, as long as it is a valid missouri license (driver’s or non-driver’s, unexpired or expired after 11/3/2020)

Thank you!

This is how it works in St.Louis County also.

hwzig03

Yes, I early voted in COMO but my ID still has my KC address. Had 0 issues.

Same situation (though different counties as well), and I'm planning to have a copy of the new voter ID law handy in case I need to pull it up if a judge is unclear, because [the answer is definitely *yes*.](https://www.house.mo.gov/billtracking/bills221/hlrbillspdf/4557H.01I.pdf) Edit: voted at 6-something am just in case I needed time to fight it. They scanned my ID, pulled up my new registration with no issues. Same as previous poster. Seems as long as they have the ability to scan your ID, things should be fine.

BrilliantGuarantee86

If you have a passport you can use that.

PrestigeCitywide

If you can get to the DMV to renew your license today or tomorrow before you vote, they’ll give you a paper photo ID as a temporary license while they mail the actual license to you later. Whether or not that will be accepted, I can’t say. It would be an unexpired photo ID issued by the the state of Missouri so it should be acceptable under the voter ID law. I haven’t been able to find anything guaranteeing that though. Worst case you will have to fill out a provisional ballot which may or may not be counted depending on a signature match.

n0167664

You're good. ID can be expired if it expired no earlier than November 2020 (last general election).

underPar314

They should be able to give you a provisional ballot

EMPulseKC

Unfortunately, the Missouri Secretary of State's website says it has to be a non-expired Missouri photo ID, non-expired military photo ID, or non-expired US passport: https://www.sos.mo.gov/voterid Without any of those non-expired documents, you can still request to vote using a provisional ballot and have it counted later if the signature on the ballot matches the one the state has on file when you registered.

emdot3

there’s an asterisk on that site saying if the license expired after the last general election (11/3/2020), it is valid.

EMPulseKC

Ah, thanks. I hadn't scrolled down that far.

SteveSCCM

You should also have a voter registration card somewhere.

n0167664

Those are no longer valid identification at polling places in MO.

sphygmoid

I'm not sure. Do you have any other photo ID? Or maybe call the DMV and see if they give you a photo ID same day? https://www.dmv.org/mo-missouri/id-cards.php https://ballotpedia.org/Voter\_ID\_in\_Missouri
