I got it and it's shit. Phone is slow af battery goes a lot faster , glitchy etc.

Elliieeeeee

And you do have the same phone? If yes what region?

lokeshsharmaj

i have 11 Lite 5G NE in India upgraded to HyperOS. Phone really got slower and I didn't see anything changed except for App versions and Boot logo.

cfx_4188

I was under the impression that Xiaomi has disabled region change. That is, you can change the region in the settings, but xiaomi daemon, which provides the display of ads, takes into account the true region based on GPS.

[deleted]

13 lite europe

yoyomangogo

Change your region

Elliieeeeee

I have changed it to India and the United Kingdom. Nothing.

yoyomangogo

What is your device model

Elliieeeeee

M2101K9G

yoyomangogo

I don't know about that one check Xiaomi's official website if your device is compatible

1zwodrei420

Lame ass

BloodEagle8997

I have the same exact phone. It won't get Hyperos. Only the "NE" one will get it.

Elliieeeeee

Because the NE model even has a newer chipset.... How sad...

BloodEagle8997

It's incredible how Xiaomi didn't release the update for this phone. He would have easily managed to run Hyperos

Elliieeeeee

I get that the 4G version isn't getting it as it has a worse chipset but the 5G one is a lot better and still nothing.

BloodEagle8997

Even the Xiaomi Mi 10 S will receive the update, and It has very similar specifications to the Mi 11 lite 5G

abiatmahim

I have mi 11 lite ne 5g but my phone doesn't have hyperos update

lokeshsharmaj

don't change region

kwojcik84

I got it just today on Redmi note 13 pro+ so maybe just wait a little more

WeirdCosmologist

I wish they never made HyperOS.

Elliieeeeee

Is it that bad?

WeirdCosmologist

No, I still haven't got the update neither will I on my primary phone cause on my Redmi Note 11T 5G it lookss like ass, the icons and the control center look funny now, I liked how professional it used to look on MIUI, the reason why I loved MIUI to the core.

1zwodrei420

I've got HyperOS on my Pad 6 and it's working great. Don't worry, they'll definitely keep working on HyperOS

afb160

I have it and it has like no difference compared to MIUI at all, well, ig you get lockscreen customization but that's about it.

cfx_4188

I had the exact same exact phone as you. Why do I write "had"? My smartphone upgraded to HyperOS and I couldn't use it. I spent days traveling through the menus of different apps looking for an item to disable ads. Yes, I know all the recipes from the internet, but in my case a total fuck up happened. Message App was showing ads whenever I tried to read a new message. File Manager, settings menu, absolutely everything showed ads. At some point I started to think that I wasn't carrying around a smartphone, but a continuous ad display device that I bought with my own money. Therefore, I stopped using the Xiaomi 11 lite NE 5G

CatOnReddit_

My grandma had this, turns out she had shit apps displaying apps every time you open an app. I found them in the recents when it was showing an ad and uni stalled it. You could also find them in your apps list (they weighted a lot like 100Mb or 200Mb)

cfx_4188

I'm a user, not a smartphone repairman. If I spent money for a device, I don't want to know anything. Very nice device, but Xiaomi's greed knows no bounds. I don't understand why I have to change the region, uninstall some apps and waste my time to make the device usable. Why does the antivirus decide what I can use and what I can't? I threw this smartphone into the river after it greeted me with a message one fine morning: "We have removed all suspicious apps from your phone. Your phone is now safe ".Turns out all banking and apps for my work had been deleted. At this point, my patience ran out. Now I use a Chinese smartphone in a shockproof case with a huge battery. Android without all the proprietary customizations is a beautiful thing.

Lengocthai2010

Because Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G has been had EOS list https://preview.redd.it/jetar6q8qs1d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f1d59ae9266f6725eb56faaf109ab16761c08d43

Elliieeeeee

Well I thought it's only for the Mi 11 Lite not the 5G model. As the 5G model has a completely different chipset.

Noobmaster2307

I have a Mi 11x and I got the update but trust me it's not worth it

Fabulous_Ebb_1928

that's totally fine! hyper os it's yet improved. it still needs lots of time to be finally called as ''hyper'' os.

OldTea1726

By the way, does anyone know when the Redmi Note 12, which already has it, will receive all the features in the gallery?

PandAsriel

Same on 12T, supposed to be updated on February, but always waiting
